We were here 2 years ago and really enjoyed it so when we booked at the Resort for my birthday, we made reservations to dine here again. Now, my husband is not the most creative type and he wouldn't know where to begin but he did make a big deal to let the restaurant know it was his wife's birthday... More

Maybe they had a bad night. We have been regulars here. We always loved it until now. The service remains top notch. However, the cooking was downhill. Started with appetizers, I had the Pozole, which was very average and arrived tepid. My wife had the Ahi starter, which was just OK. For the main course I had the ribs with... More

The V is my favorite spot to bring out of town visitors and recently came with my visiting parents to try the new menu. I'm loving the vegetarian/vegan options, the mushroom tostada was delicious and the eggplant was exactly what I imagined and then some. It was so full of flavor and the different textures of the dish were enjoyable.... More

We recently took a family vacation to Arizona. On Christmas Eve we had a hard time finding anything open other than fast foot. The Flying V was open and we decided to go there. When we walked in it was obvious this was not a "Bar and Grill". This place is nice! It is located in an upscale part of... More

Traveled with my husband to Tucson. First night there was much rain and no heat in the restaurant. Much cold air poured down on me as I ate, requiring me to wear my husband's jacket. Red snapper entrée was tasty(but not terrific) but cold within 5 minutes with cold air pummeling it, Jalapeno cornbread a delight as was the orange... More

If you have the chance to go to the Flying V Bar & Grill make sure you do!!!. My family of 11 went the night before we had to fly out. The restaurant is suited great for either a nice romantic dinner for two or a family gathering. The food is exceptional and the service is no less. I wish... More

As we were heading to Tucson, I saw this was the #1 restaurant in the city as rated on here and since it looked good, I made a reservation. Everything was great: the guacamole, the other breads and butters and the steaks we cooked perfect. I ordered a Dragoon IPA on the suggestion of the server, Aaron, and he initially... More

I enjoyed the Prix Fixe menu on Christmas Eve while my husband ordered ala carte. Everything was fantastic. I really appreciated the wait staff bringing my husband a desert with a candle for his Christmas Eve birthday.

The Flying V has excellent food, wine and service. It's casual enough for kids and fancy enough for a wedding party' rehearsal dinner. The cornbread was amazing and the guacamole made at your table is an experience. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and that was without eating dessert, which I had no room for!

It was our last night in town after one of our very fast paced tours of an American city. We had not had any real great meals so far, so we decided to go out of our financial comfort range for one night and relax and enjoy a great night in a wonderful location. It was all that and more.... More
