Good food..real good with great service. Located just next to one of Tucsons major resorts it get the tourists for sure...but...it gets plentynof local business as well. Many businesses use it for lunch entertainment. I for one like to go up there ( it,s in the foorhilss above Tucson) for the food and the view of the city. Lush desert... More

I had a deal when I went but we had a great time! You could get away with having the guac and some of their appetizers and being totally full because they also give you cornbread and chips at your table! Plus they have a happy hour until 7 with $6 wine and margaritas!

Unfortunately, we are not big fans of Jalapeño and it was in everything. The steak was cooked to perfection but it also was coated in super spicy Jalapeño. Service was better than most restaurants and the setting is very pleasant adjacent to the golf course and infinity type pond. Bar options were very good.

Went for a nice dinner with friends to Flying V, which has been a special spot in Tucson for years. The guacamole table side has been mentioned and should not be missed for a great appetizer. What to choose for dinner? Three of us split the Tomahawk and could not have happier. Comes with Chief's Kens choice of sides and... More

We have been to the Flying V a few times and always enjoyed it. I don't understand it being the highest rated restaurant in Tucson but it has been good. We went out with friends tonight and they wanted to try something new so we suggested the Fling V because they had not been there. I have to say that... More

I went back to the Flying V a few nights ago and I simply cannot say enough about the entire experience. Greeted by the hostess (did not get her name) and the manager, Rock, we were seated. Ordered the tableside guacamole and Mattison made the best guacamole I have ever had. Had a fabulous drink from Brandon the bartender and... More

This is ranked number one in Tucson and I can understand why as it is all that is advertised. I highly recommend.

The chef is very concerned with putting together unusual ingredients but does not seem to have any sense of what might actually taste delicious together. It's frightening. Burgers for example come with really hot chiles BURNED into them so can't remove them and you can't taste any delicious burger. The flavor is eclipsed by burned chile. I ordered some kind... More

I am a member of The Ventana Canyon Golf and Raquet Club. The hotel shares our 36 hold golf course and offers us and guests the use of using the Flying V Bar & Grill. Come dressed or come in your casual clothes, you will be comfortable and you will really enjoy your meal.... or just drinks. The restaraunt overlooks... More

Excellent service. Guacamole girl Matti from Manhattan was amazing. Bartender Brandon was attentive and exceptionally knowledgeable of all menu items. Manager was also very friendly and attentive. Overall could not have asked for a better experience.
