Friendly service yummy food! Lamb curry was fab, firecracker soup was TDF. Chicken satay had best peanut sauce I've ever had, Summer rolls (aka fresh spring rolls) were great, and believe it or not the Hamachi nigiri was divine! How they got fresh sashimi in the desert boggles my mind! Highly recommend!

Felt like we had the entire place to ourselves on a Wednesday night out with friends. Neo is well worth a visit at anytime because the food is always good! The family and their staff are pleasant and service oriented. Everything was done precisely. Presentation of the food, delivery of drinks, pouring of the wine - very nice. We shared... More

There were seven of us celebrating a birthday, and the kitchen really delivered for us. Drink orders were filled rapidly, and a steady stream of food emerged. We shared several orders of the spring rolls (amazing dish for $2) as well as their salads topped with shrimp (extra) and a great peanut sauce. The entree section allowed for maximum flexibility:... We've been to NEO several times and each time we were well pleased. They offer a very wide variety of Asian dishes. My strong advice is to stick with the Malaysian/Singaporean (Nonya) dishes. They do an excellent mee goreng (fried noodles) and nasi goreng (fried rice). The murtabak (a sort of Asian quesadilla with lamb) and their lamb curries are... More

Located in a strip mall in a nice part of town, Neo's is an upscale Malaysian restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was delivered promptly. I found the prices to be a bit steep so we each ordered only an entree. I had the sambal shrimp and it had a nice taste, but was way too spicy... More

Terrible. The food here is awful. I had the lunch buffet and there was barely any food left at 1pm, even though it ends at 2. I felt ill after eating. Even the green tea was bad. The service was good, but the food is some of the worst I've eaten...

Not terrible, but not great. We were told by staff our meal would be served buffet style and we would get to try many of the items on menu. I believe six items served, three were rice and noodles, some kind of chicken and then curry. I don't recall other item. The food was a bit greasy. The staff was... More

My friend and I enjoy trying different places to have lunch. Yesterday, July 11, we tried Neo Malaysian Kitchen in Tucson. We were beyond disappointed!

We were in from L.A. where we get to distinguish Hunan from Hainan, never mind Cantonese v Szechuan. And we've been to Penang, KL, and S'pore. This delightful family restaurant has something just a bit different, worth working my schedule to include Tucson more often. I suspect it isn't completely the Melaka theme. The variation on the usually Americanized favorite... More

I'm a picky eater and more limited than my wife. We went with a group of friends to this place and I was worried if I would find something. Well, this is the Place. I ordered the Curry (medium Spicy) Malaysian Spices with Coconut Creme and Chicken. I was great. My wife offered her Malay Lamb Curry which was a... More
