33 years ago my husband proposed to me here, a lot has happened in those 33 years but one thing that has stayed the same is Mama Louisa. Good Italian food, good service, huge portions, nice wine options, big salad bar, comfortable seating and easy access. I would like to compliment the very patient employees who helped us with our... Since our last visit in 2009, some things changed and some things haven't! The 2 bread sticks still have no taste and are still served without butter. They smell suspiciously previously frozen, too. The salad bar hasn't changed; it is still a mixture of bagged or canned vegetables and commercially bottled bressings and condiments. Their Manhatten recipe has changed; for... More

We were looking forward to a good Italian meal that we were assured was good, and were very disappointed. The spaghetti we had was almost tasteless, the salad bar had mainly unusual lettuce, and the bread had the taste of plain bread, no butter, no garlic, no spices at all. The restaurant was HIGHLY understaffed, and the two waiters, one... More

My wife and I love the traditional Italian food - Joe's special, Shrimp Guiseppi - never disappoints. Family atmosphere, salad bar and a great bar. Prices are reasonable and servings are generous.

The pasta bar looked great, each portion is made individually with house made sauce. My Grinder was very good, served on nicely crunchy bread with a good amount of meat and served with excellently seasoned fries. They get busy at lunch so plan for a bit of a wait occasionally.

I tried this restaurant because it was close to Davis-Montham AFB and I was tired after a very long day. Based on the reviews I was prepared for a really wonderful meal. Unfortunately that is not what I received. I ordered the Linguini and Clam pasta, gluten-free with a side of Wedding soup. The best that could be said about... More

Great selection of menu items with a variety for every persons favorite choice. We have been dining there since 1982 and usually do at least one or two visits per month. The lunch menu is very reasonable and the dinner is also below average for the meal you receive. Outstanding salad bar selections and a light eater can decline and... More

Dined at Mama Louisa's last night and it did not disappoint. Our server was kind, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with a delicious bruschetta and pizza. The bruschetta was served on a loaf of oven toasted garlic bread with a combination of vine ripened tomatoes, bell peppers, cheese and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. A must have!!... More

I had an early dinner so the salad bar was a bit weathered. The food was good but from my friend's recommendation, I was expecting something a little more special. Had the veal parm. Pasta was way over cooked. However, the staff was great. In hind sight, I would do Olive Garden and I usually stay away from the chains... More
