We stopped here at a recommendation of a friend who is a frequent customer to grab some baked goods........wish we had had time for lunch. Looks like a cozy and inviting place to hang out and dine well!! Great offering of sandwiches! Loved my scones......

I would love to go back and try everything. Picked up a few breakfast pastries to take back to my family at our hotel. The "gateaux basque" is a little slice of heaven. A perfectly sweet treat to counter a strong black coffee! 😄 I would expect the sandwiches would be great. Their bread couldn't just be beautiful and tempting.

Many too-wonderful baked goods here, which thankfully do not have calorie amounts posted. The scones, the cinnamon rolls, the cookies . . . never had a bad one. And I have had a lot of them. Also good sandwiches for lunch, on their fab chewy breads. So glad they are in Salem.

We stopped here on our way out of town. OMG! OMG! Delicate, buttery pastry. Chocolate croissant. Amazing! Local gem.

5 starts for the apple cake and bread 3 stars for the sandwiches My husband and I stopped here for lunch while looking around Salem. I got the marinato sandwich and my husband got the roast beef sandwich. We both weren't that impressed with the sandwich. There wasn't enough cheese on either sandwich to cover the entire sandwich and the... More

We got breakfast here. Twice. Would have gladly eaten every meal here! The Koug Amman is to die for!!! The chocolate croissant. Yummmmm! My daughter does not even like cinnamon rolls and she loved the ones we bought here. I am a baker and trust me this place is SO worth the visit!!!

You will not find better, or even close to better, olive bread and sticky buns! Down a small side street, but worth the hunt. You can eat it in or take out. My favorite twice a week stop!

If you are looking for excellence in bakery, and by that I mean the opposite of Wonderbread and Twinkies, this is your spot! Locally, seasonably sourced ingredients are used to make the most amazing breads and pastries. Take home or stay for lunch But don't expect to come here to work and borrow the free WiFi because there is none!... More
