Only had cookies and the cinnamon rolls, but both very good which keeps us coming back both for personal and business.

I've only been to BDB in the early morning as a detour to work. The smell of yeast bread greets you when you walk in the door. It does get quite busy in the morning during the school year with families stopping to grab rolls, scones, or muffins to go. My favorites are the sticky buns and cinnamon rolls. Great... More

I used to go to BDB all the time just to get these amazing blueberry muffins they made. They used to be more berries than cake if that tells you anything. Its been a while and theyre not quite like that now but still good.

Nice people but the product wasn't up to standards in my opinion. I purchased three items and thought that perhaps at least one of them would bring a smile to my face. The peanut butter cookie was very dry and did not taste fresh. It probably was made that day but honestly whomever makes them needs to perhaps look at... More

They are very good marketers at BDB. There are samples of most of the baked goods sliced on the butcher block top at the counter. Plus a big brick of butter to put on the various sliced breads available. The toll this time: one loaf of old fashioned white bread, two cinnamon rolls without raisins, on oatmeal chocolate chip cookie... More

Nestled in the southern edge Alamo Heights, this bakery will capture your heart and foodie soul forever. The free samples alone of their various unique and staple breads, muffins, and cookies when you walk into the door will intoxicate your senses. All of their items are made with natural local ingredients (including the sweeteners), and it shows in the final... More

I have never been to this bakery, but I have been lucky enough to eat muffins from here many times. They are always delicious. Definitely worth trying out.

We love to stop by here when we travel to San Antonio. The selection of bread and other baked goods is varied and always fresh. We bought a loaf of raisin muesli bread as well as a loaf of olive bread. Of course cookies come home with us and a treat or two for the breakfast next day. The young... More
