I visited with the SA Food Tour and they gave us the table side guacamole. It was fun to watch her make it and they add a few ingredients I don't usually have in guacamole. Such as orange juice and roasted Serrano peppers. We sat outside on the patio which was nice even with the leaves blowing around,

We decided to stay off the "commercial" River Walk and we were not disappointed. The bar was very nice. Had their signature Margarita and it was delicious. Also got a few appetizers, guacamole (recommend strongly) and a cheese plate.

The zinc burger was great, the fries were just ok. The ceaser salad was good for its price (4$). We took the food to go and it took less than 15 minutes.

Zinc was absolutely fabulous!!!! We lunch and cocktails (Dirty Martini was perfect) and the service was exceptional !!! We returned the next night for cocktails and service was really slow and our drinks were not as great, maybe it was because it was Saturday and dinner time. We tried again about three hours later and back to fabulous!!!

Lovely outdoor space! Anna (server) was terrific. Ordered the calamari appetizer. The calamari was tender and cooked nicely. The flavor, however, was lacking.......bland. Dunked in the sauce to add some flavor. Margarita wasn't bad - would order another.

We ate dinner here one night and it was enjoyable. There's lots of hustle and bustle and a nice upbeat atmosphere. The local beers that we tried were good as was the food.!

The ambiance, the service, the food, the wine...everything was so great at Zinc, and the only negative is that we were not aware that it was there! We travel to San Antonio once or twice each year and we love to walk and eat and enjoy the city. Zinc has a courtyard that reminded us of being in New Orleans... More

Airy, affable bar with broad American bar fare well-executed. A bit limited for table seating, the food's worth a visit if you want a pleasant time. A burger to remember, camarones on a skewer quite tasty.

I wish I could remember our servers name- Brintney? She was awesome and very attentive. I had some great shrimp, some ok crab cakes and a good guacamole. The wine selection was very good and the ambiance was just right.

Just OK, and as such over-priced. Went for lunch. Burger & Lamb burger were cooked as ordered. Service was OK, but hardly anyone else was there, so you'd expect to have good service. I won't go back because there are so many other places to try, and these guys are just another fare.

Thank kevin k

Our chefs have painstakingly created a menu of wine-friendly fare consisting of old world hors d'oeuvres and regionally inspired tapas. From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts.
Charles Court, at the rear of Zinc, is a truly serene gathering place for a rare outdoor experience. The private, spacious courtyard makes for a quiet sanctuary from the clatter of downtown city streets and the Riverwalk.
