This restaurant has a very nice choice of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Unless you are looking for it, you unlikely to wander in for lunch or dinner. That would be a shame as it is much better than the tourist oriented restaurants that line the Riverwalk.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is nice and cozy. I tried a couple of sparkling wines by the glass and they were okay. The server was good, but we had one weird experience. My wife and I ordered salads and entrees. We were sitting at a high top table in the bar and they brought everything out at once. Our... More

This is a very nice restaurant and bar. The outside eating area is really pretty and relaxing. Though it is primarily a bar, they do have a small dinner menu which includes very reasonable dishes. I enjoyed the grilled chicken salad and for $10.00 I was surprised to find a very large and tasty piece of chicken breast included. Another... More

Actually both very good food and drinks. The margaritas were excellent and the fish and chips were very good. It is an interesting place slightly off the Riverwalk. This was our third time eating and drinking there and we will go back again when in S A.

Great restaurant, excellent food, good service though it seems to take a bit of time to get the food, it is hot and tasty when delivered. Courtyard reminds me more of NOLA than Texas, so a nice place to eat, drink and relax without being on the Riverwalk.

We slept through our alarm for dinner after crushing a "nap" and all the restaurants seemed to be closed along the Riverwalk. Our hotel staff suggested Zinc since there kitchen is open till 2am and it was awesome! Just what we were looking for - quality food, wine and quaint patio :)

Great drinks, but under-cooked and tasteless crab cakes. Salad was good, as was service. Nice decor.

Along N. Presa Street just off West Market is a gated alleyway on the left adjacent to the entrance to Zinc Champagne & Wine Bar. Through the restaurant entrance lies an interesting, but not-so-different main bar area. Don't be fooled, it is but one personality of this excellent oasis, and the right destination for your evening's meal! My wife and... More

Lovely atmosphere to be sure. My waiter forgot about me when I asked to substitute salmon for chicken on my salad. He told me that would cost $6.00. The salad was $12.00. After sitting awkwardly, the bar tender came over to take my order. The margarita was good, a little sweet tho. For all the accolade I expected to be... More

Our chefs have painstakingly created a menu of wine-friendly fare consisting of old world hors d'oeuvres and regionally inspired tapas. From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts.
Charles Court, at the rear of Zinc, is a truly serene gathering place for a rare outdoor experience. The private, spacious courtyard makes for a quiet sanctuary from the clatter of downtown city streets and the Riverwalk.
