Their food is very good and their help is very knowledgeable. There were five of us, everyone was very happy with their meal. The waiter knew the menu very well and took the time to explain every question we asked. They don't take same day reservations!!! The place it's very busy, hard to get a drink at the bar, and... More
The restaurant has a good ambiance, but that's not all. The menu is quite large, emphasizes Creole dishes, and promises an exciting meal from the start. The food is delicious, well prepared and hot to the table. Service is very good, too. Prices are very fair, especially because portions are bountiful. This is a great place for lunch or dinner!
With 4 business friends we had a wonderful dinner. The wine was very good. As starter oysters and alligator. Very well prepared. As main course a nice piece of fish. Portions are large and more than enough. Friendly personnel.
We got into town late and were looking for a good meal close to the airport on our route out of town; Pappadeaux popped on the Trip Advisor and we decided to give it a go. Crowded. Had a tough time finding parking (even on a Thursday evening). Got in line for a table and had a 10 - 20... More

Ate here when I stayed at the Courtyard and the wait to get a table was over an hour! I went to the bar which was also crowded and it took me 45 minutes to get a seat to eat around the bar. This was a Thursday night. LOL. Prepare for a wait, but the energy and vibe is GREAT... More
Everyone I mention this place to says it's among their favorites in San Antonio, right at the Northstar Mall and the northern loop, close enought to the airport. Wide enough selection to make everyone happy (even meat dishes). Always full, so not a quiet corner. Great food.
Best seafood in town. Red Snapper pontchartrain was great. Also very good gumbo, oyster po boy and bread pudding.
