Seafood is a little misleading, the menu is limited to catfish and shrimp, but the catfish is very well worth the trip. Sides are the usual fare. Nice folks running the business.

I love the gumbo. I drive 2o mins to get it and it's worth it. Yes, its spicy and awesome! :-) buy a piece of corn bread to crumble on top of it. Yummy

San Antonio desperately needs a tasty and economical seafood restaurant, since the closing of Barnacle Bills left us drydocked. But the food at Bayseas is nowhere near as good as Barnacle Bill's, and it certainly is not economical. The service is lackluster and there is no decor nor atmosphere of which to speak. Disappointing!

There are multiple locations in San Antonio (I've been to 3 so far) and they have the best catfish in San Antonio. The catfish is seasoned well, the shrimp large and the fries are crispy. Most locations also serve "soul food" as well and it looks great! The staff are very friendly and you are greeted with "Welcome to Bayseas",... More

The last place I would want to eat seafood would be a hole in the wall with a building that is falling apart. If the do not take care of their restaraunt how do they take care of their food? Dirty and falling apart is hte one onm FM78 and the one they just moved on Nacodoches isnt much better.
