I walked around Santa Fe and could not pass this Cute, Warm place by. The smells and warmth combine with the open kitchen made me feel comfortable. I had the eggplant parmesan, which I loved, along with a couple of glasses of Oregon Pinot. Most of the restaurant is tables, with 5 bar seats. I had one of those, which... More

We had a delightful dinner. Small, unpretentious and very good. All the dishes were well prepared with a nice presentation. The grilled chicken on the salad was dry but aside from that everything else was very good. Definitely a place to return to.

Wanted to try a something new for my wife and I and the Galisteo Bistro hit in all the areas I wanted. The food was wonderful. We tried two different tapas a shrimp remoulade and a shrimp crabcake. Both were excellent. Lamb duet and the chicken saltimbocca were our main courses, Both were done perfectly and tasted amazing. Our waiter... More

When we walked into the restaurant, we said, "This is exactly what we were looking for!" Reviews had said the restaurant smelled lovely and they were right, the aromas wafting about were a delight to the senses. The dining room is warm and inviting. Must haves? The cheese platter and the ice cream with chocolate crumbles (made by the very... More

We were looking for a light dinner, with nice atmosphere and the Galisteo Bistro was right across from our hotel so we gave it a try...good choice! In a small, open-kitchen dining room they serve up a variety of small plates, seafood and the like--all with a Mediterranean flavor. The wine was good and reasonable priced, pleasant atmosphere and kind... More

We walked over to this restaurant from the Hilton. It was quite busy, but the service and the food were good. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca and my spouse had the lamb ... we enjoyed both.

Wonderful little restaurant on Galisteo, I the heart of downtown. Warm and inviting atmosphere with great food - from tapas and entrees to dessert. My parents took me there for my birthday tonight and the experience was delightful except for a couple of service snafus. 1. Please don't chill my Pinot Noir without asking. It's not summer and it took... More

At the holidays everything is packed so you need reservations. We were with 7 people and my husband and me shared 4 tapas , the gambas al ajillo and the duck liver pate were our favorite, but the artichoke latkes and shrimp and crabcake were also divine also. 2 of our group had the grass-fed steak, one with chimichurri and... We were pleasantly surprised last night. We had an amazing waiter and the food was absolutley wonderful! I did Tapas and my SO had the Truducen-which he loved. We hadn't been in a few years as our last visit was disappointing. The new owners, however ,have done a delightful job.The ambience, service and food were all 1st class! We decided that... More
