This is a great place for a leisurely lunch with friends or business associates. The menu is quite creative and all dishes are prepared with lots of attention to detail and taste. The sun room with the fireplace is light and airy and the seating quite relaxing. You will like this place.

Amaya, located at Hotel SantaFe, a was recommended to us by our hotel. Our arrival coincided with an artist talk by a local aboriginal sculptor. Although the special prix fix menu for the occasion looked tempted, I opted for Stuffed Poblano Chile and my dining companion selected Sea Salt Crusted Pork Chop. Both were presented elegantly. Stuffed Poblano Chile was... More

We stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe and ate at the Amaya Restaurant several times - food was excellent! Service was very good and we would highly recommend this restaurant. It was quiet enough that we could hear each other across the table.

After visiting museums all day long, we were very tired and decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, there was only a couple of vegetarian options and that was the salad. All the main entrees were not vegetarian friendly, nor kid friendly. We did not have a child under the age of 10 to qualify for the kids... More

We travel with our very well behaved Siberian Husky and the Amaya Restaurant provides us with an exceptional dog friendly dining experience in every season of the year. The food is consistantly interesting and tasty, the presentation is always lovely, the atmosphere in the enclosed patio is serene and perfect for enjoying conversations at the table. During the cool season,... More

When my wife and I are in Santa Fe, we always go to the Amaya. This year we had a breakfast and dinner there. At breakfast there is a choice of the continental buffet or a la carte. We chose from the menu as we were sitting in the dining solarium in front of the wood fire. Both breakfast entrées... More

I hadn't researched the hotel's restaurant, but I was tired from traveling and wanted something quick so I tried it for dinner. Well, what a find! My meal was outstanding from beginning to end. I had the wilted spinach salad, the sea bass and vegetables in white wine sauce, and the vanilla creme brûlée. Service was excellent too. Such a... More

My favorite times to visit Amaya are the fall and winter, when there is a fire blazing in the kiva and the decor is warm and cozy. Warm months are lovely as well, particularly since the remodel last year, when the main dining room was opened up and is now naturally bright and airy. I particularly recommend Friday and Saturday... Most delighted with Amaya's self-serve Christmas Day brunch. Lots of choice - all good - from soups, salads, appetizers, entrees, and deserts. Despite many people present, service was quick and most pleasant; dishes promptly refilled. The prime rib was outstanding. More traditional New Mexican dishes were not emphasized. Discount for seniors. Will go again. Highly recommended.
