The lovely hostess did her best to accommodate us by saving us seats at the bar, but when we arrived a table had opened up just in time. The traffic in La Boca is nonstop- a sign of the fantastic food. The servers kept up with the traffic and our waitress, Maria, took great care of us. Awesome food, fun... More

Our motorcycle group relies on tripadvisor and local recommendations. That is how we came to la boca. Wow. Food was excellent. tapas trio wonderful. rabbit (?? who knew ??) pancetta, excellent. seafood with squid ink pasta. paella. the three of us very happy and satisfied. The wine list a bit limited in the more reasonable price range and the attitude... More

We wanted to try everything on the menu! There were four of us eating and we chose four small plates and then paella. The four plates were tapas trio carrot, bruscetta, kale salad and a shrimp dish. We shared all of the dishes and they were delicious! Neighboring tables had other dishes that looked great. Next time!

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Santa Fe. We did a late lunch after an early afternoon in museum, and the food was amazing. The menu is Spanish with an emphasis on tapas and paella. We both started with a chilled Watermellon Gazpacho and it was excellent. I had the seafood stew and my... More

We had a light lunch at La Boca upon arrival in Santa Fe. My husband ordered the rabbit sausage sandwich; I had a salad with figs, apricots, and feta. Both meals were outstanding. We would be eager to return. The space is charming--a spare and contemporary renovation of an old, southwestern-looking space. Airy and comfortable, with an interesting and friendly... More

We are visiting from Colorado, and had several recommendations for La Boca. It came up here and on Yelp too, so we had to try it. This was our first time to a tapas restaurant, and what an experience. First off, Austin deserves a huge shout out. Not only did he walk us through the menu very patiently, but we're... More

The flavor these folks tease out of ordinary ingredients is spectacular. Beef with sea salt caramel: out of this world. Pork cheeks with carrot date caramel: heaven on earth. And the cherry cream confection for dessert was a perfect balance of sweetness and tang. The highest praise I can confer/confess was overtly licking my plate during three of our courses... More

Looks like the locals have managed to influence the Tapas portion size! How tragic. We ordered three tapas for the two of us and we could NOT finish it! The food was good but in really large quantities. I think it's necessary to stay true to the original concept or the philosophy of the food. Tapas is "small Spanish savoury... More

Our party of 18 arrived in time for our reservation in the pouring rain and, as the restaurant is very small, we were literally pushed back into the pouring rain with the explanation that we were the largest group they had ever had and they had no room for us to sit or wait until tables cleared. We were told... More

My DH wanted a slight change the to the ever prevalent southwestern food during our recent visit to New Mexico so booked an evening at La Boca. Between 7 and 9 it was packed and, yes, the tables are close but since we live in NYC it felt like home. Not romantic but fun picking out and balancing all our... More

With the feel of a lively European wine bar, La Boca also features an extensive selection of carefully chosen Mediterranean and South American wines. Knowledgeable and animated staff graciously guide customers to the perfect wine to complement their meals. La Boca also prides itself on being an ambassador of Spanish sherry culture, transporting its guests to Cadiz in the crisp cool flavors of Fino, or the deep fig-essence of a Pedro Ximenez. Full to capacity almost every night since its opening, La Boca has been a hit with both locals and the world travelers that visit Santa Fe. La Boca has earned numerous awards both local and national, including the Santa Fe Reporter's "Restaurant of the Year," and the International Wine and Food Society's "Award of Excellence."
