Place looks very nice, very busy too. Wife and I were looking for a couple of margaritas to have since we both had the day off due to a holiday. We decided to both have the house Margarita one on the rocks the other one frozen but the taste was awful on both type. I drink mine but she decided... More

I love their Tortilla basket with chicken. Huge and filling. Other items on the menu equally as good. This is a convenient, medium-priced, consistently good cafe. Haven't had a drink there but hear they are delicious. My favorite place when shopping in the Rte. 1 area. Give it a try. I doubt you will be sorry.

Been here a few times now within a few month, food is always good, staff are friendly & attentive. The portions sizes and cocktails are great. The cocktails are around $6-9 the sangria is $7 and tastes good. Fajitas are my favorite as well as the tajas chicken. This place is usually busy, but more of a good atmosphere than... More

Our Uber driver recommended this place to us and it was a good choice. If you go here please make a reservation as the place is packed due to it's popularity with the locals. The food is absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is extremely loud...can't have a table conversation. The food is okay and I have never gotten a margarita there that I like. The chips and salsa that you get when you sit down are good and plentiful. I know that everyone loves this place, but I have to say it is definitely not my favorite.

This is our "go to" place when my husband and I head home to NH after being in Boston. The chips are warm, and too delicious-- realizing after 2 baskets, I have probably eaten one by myself. Going for more than a traditional Mexican dish, I have the blackened salmon. Its always nicely done and extremely flavorful with a side... More

So this was a first time visit, I've driven by this place so many times and have always wanted to go in. The atmosphere was great, the wait wasn't too long but I guess this is a popular spot and you can wait for a table. The place is clean and the staff were pleasant and attentive. The menu was... Let me start off by saying that I've been eating at the Saugus Border Cafe since it opened in 1990. I've even eaten in the one in Delaware several times!! Being a creature of habit, I generally get the same meal - a house salad, and chicken quesadillas. The salad was always fresh, with bacon bits and a really unique... More
