Great Cajun-style cuisine... really good catfish and crab cakes... favorite dish is the chicken and waffles (which is seasonal unfortunately). And its BYOB :)

The food is great but seating sucks! Take out is the way to go, it's quick. The people who work their are very kind also.

If you're looking for that somewhere with unique cuisine that's extraordinarily delicious, then this is the place. Great food, friendly staff that make you feel right at home, and the best food in the Pioneer Valley.

Chef Wayne knows what's what! The food is absolutely great, and don't take it from me - get there a minute too late, and you're standing in line with 20 people who know good food when they are served it. We waited Saturday night about 20 minutes, which is really nothing. Funny thing was, the weather wasn't all that good... More

Great for lunch but best for dinner. Limited seating so be prepared to wait on Friday and Saturday night. Bring your own bottle to have with Cajun dishes and if your lucky enough and not to busy, chef Wayne may even sit and talk with you. A must do

Hubby and I travelled to Springfield to catch a Louis C.K. concert last summer. We were looking for a place to eat near our hotel and happened upon Big Mamou - what a treat! We had an amazing meal at a reasonable price. We went rather early before our concert but the next night we walked by a bit later... More

As a recovering Texan, I have spent over 30 years traveling the bayous of coastal Louisiana, so I believe I know good cajun food, so outside of that region my expectations are understandably low. But, my business associate has eaten here and recommended it highly, plus it is the #2 rated restaurant in Springfield, so I tried it. Whoa, was... More

This place is great. It's a pretty small hole in the wall but the food is fantastic. Our favorite is the catfish. They also let you BYOB. We stop every time we're driving through Springfield.

Dropped in for lunch today and had Chicken Jumbalaya, Crab cakes and Bread Pudding. Enjoyed it all! Don't come for the decor but enjoy the food!

I've been a few times for lunch during the weekdays. I should try something else, but I always have the Jambalaya,,I'm sure the rest of the food is great also, I just like this and don't want to experiment.
