This is a little diner, that throws back to the good old days when Route 66 was the way to travel. Their food was not at all what I expected. Seriously crazy variety of Modern American fare as well as Chinese food. I had the...More

The reviews were getting us excited to try this place but it didn’t quite meet expectations unfortunately. Good? The malts and fries. Eggs and bacon. Not so good? The crab sandwich was way too salty. Yikes! Should have stuck with a burger I guess.

We stopped here on a whim and were quite impressed. The veggie omelette was outstanding. The hash browns were a tad boring though, dry and lacking some flavor. Overall though we’d definitely be back!

We stopped for breakfast on our way to the Grand Canyon and were blown away! Super fresh, they butcher their own meat and locally source everything. Spotless and the apparently new owners kept the historical diner decor. All 4 of us raved about our meals...More

We have lived in Flagstaff a long time and have never been. They have recently changed hands and the menu and food knock it out of the ballpark. I had the deconstructed blt and hubby had the duck confit and crab cake sandwich. Both were...More

Take a trip back in time and try the great food choices at this historic restaurant. It was run for many generations by a family of Chinese ancestry and was sold recently. The new owners have spiffed it up in 50s diner style. Serves all...More

After experimenting with a much larger menu, the place has seriously cut down the size. There are still some Chinese options, some burgers, plenty of breakfast, a few salads. Plenty of local beer and boozy milkshakes, which I wanted to try. I guess this is...More

I recently tried The Grand Canyon Cafe in Flagstaff and to my surprise it was really good! I had heard the owners closed it down for awhile then a new owner took over. The atmosphere is like being back in the 50’s with counter seating...More

A good enough sandwich but a bit on the expensive side for what was provided. Still a charming/historical alternative to fast food.

Walked in expecting diner food in a mid century looking eatery.....found a vintage restored Rt. 66 throwback, authentic in every way. Food was excellent and creative with impeccable presentation...nice jukebox with no earbuds needed.
