Now the food is delicious and the service is sporadic not always good all the time they are not willing to work with you with any subs substitutes they won't hold the table for you don't make reservations because they won't hold to it... The night before my daughter's graduation dinner, I received a call from the restaurant. I was told that because they were booked and had a waiting list, they were collecting $50 to secure reservations previously made. I get that they do not want to hold tables for no-shows, but I also could not predict with certainty that dealing with the... More

We went on a night when they had only the chefs tasting menu. It was fantastic. The place is quaint and the food was impeccable. We enjoyed every minute of it.

This was our first visit to Coppa. The food was fabulous. The Bolognese over home made pasta would have made Marcella Hazan proud. My husband's steak frites were, according to him, the best he has ever eaten. We had been going to Tinderbox Kitchen for the last five years on trips between Santa Fe and the Bay Area, but we... If you love it when a restaurant exceeds all expectations, get to Coppa Cafe in Flagstaff. We had several appetizers from house cured charcuterie to unbelievable lamb tripe, and ponderosa mousse, and a chicken dish made unlike any other chicken you've ever had. Coppa reminded me more of dining in Copenhagen than anywhere I've been in AZ.

We happened on the Coppa café last year when travelling to Phoenix and were delighted. We made a point of stopping again twice this year (to and from Phoenix) because we like it so much. It’s in a small strip mall but has a charming interior. The organization of the restaurant has changed – used to be counter service, but... More

We go to Coppa when we just really want some real food bursting with flavor. Even the espresso tastes like France. I have no idea how they make croissants like this at altitude, but I'm glad they do. The plain lettuce salad served with soup is not so plain, and the soup is always heavenly. This is a great place... More

Rude staff, expensive but stale food. Tiny portions. They have counter service, with no room for the line that forms and cramps everyone's table. They took 10 minutes to put my order into their tablet based POC system.

This French restaurant located in a strip mall next to a nail salon, was an amazing surprise. The small, quaint restaurant served outstanding French cuisine. The tables were elegant, the waitstaff impeccable, the food beautifully presented and delicious. We tried foods we had never had before or never prepared this way before. Highly recommend it!!!

Found myself at Coppa Cafe after hearing about how good the food was from some friends. My fiancee and I had the tasting menu and were blown away by how amazing everything was. From mesquite pasta and veal to the chocolate souffle, each bite was impeccable. Can't wait to go back.

Coppa is a European-style cafe/bistro set amidst the mountains of Flagstaff serving lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. While northern Arizona might at first seem an unlikely dining destination for serious epicureans, Coppa Cafe's combination of talent and unconventional procurement methods have set the small, casual eatery atop the "can't miss" list of every discerning foodie from Phoenix to Santa Fe.

Choosing to go against the grain of the franchise and chain restaurants often found in smaller-town America, husband and wife owners and chefs Brian Konefal and Paola Fioravanti instead favor house-cured meats, ingredients locally procured from nearby farms and ranches and foraged foods found in the forests around Flagstaff to incorporate into their dishes. Though their procurement methods might seem unconventional for the region, their talents are rooted in tradition, following lifelong culinary careers spent crisscrossing Europe and the U.S., Training under the tutelage of some of the finest and most decorated chefs in their respective countries.

As Coppa's tagline states, the tiny, intimate venue offers "a taste of Europe in the mountains of Flagstaff," and the culinary team prides itself on providing just that through balancing local finds with progressive techniques, resulting in an unprecedented, sophisticated and pilgrimage-worthy experience.
