Went to Peter K's for the first time while visiting my father. Grew up in South Buffalo but somehow never discovered this place earlier. The menu is a mix and match of American and polish dishes and the atmosphere is a relaxed bar scene. The potato pancake with spinach was very nice as well as the stuffed cabbage. My pierogi... More

we were STARVING by the time we arrived at this Polish/American restaurant. a STUFFED POTATO PANCAKE is what "they" are known for. it is a folded thin potato pancake with a pierogi and Polish sausage inside and saurekraut on top. DELICIOUS is how two RED HATTERS described it. I, myself, had one potato pancake and two potato/cheese pierogis, which was... More

Went there on a Monday night with some co-workers, the person who seated us said that they were down a person and he had to run bar and serve. But that didn't seem to affect the service greatly as we were the only ones eating in there the whole time. I had the ssusage platter and a coworker had the... More

I surmise that the negative reviews are not real. We travel an hour for their amazing food. Their fish fry is the best in western New York. Everything is home made. The German potato salad is a delicious side option with the fish fry. Their pierogi are delicious with many different stuffings but the kraut or cheese are our favorites.... More

This is a long-standing neighborhood tavern. Nothing fancy, but quaint and comfortable. The food is excellent, and there is a good variety. Our service has always been warm and friendly and efficient. The wait staff consist of several family members and and non family members. They personalize your visit by talking with you, answering food questions etc. We try to... More

Never again! 1.5hr after being seated and order taken, my friend and I were told the restaurant was out of our meal choice. 1.5 hrs! And several lies about how the meal was "next up", "ticket lost but meal going in now", "restaurant really busy" etc. Never an apology, never asked if we needed another beverage while we waited. We... More

I live in the area, but don't stop in here often. The place looks grungy and hasn't changed in decades. The food is nothing special; I didn't feel comfortable eating there. Better in the old days with Beer and karaoke.

This is more of a bar/very casual restaurant, but the food is phenomenal. The pierogi, potato pancakes, and glomki (sp? stuffed cabbage) are the best I have every tasted. There is another restaurant name Polish Villa in Cheektowago nearby, but this food is better. Service is good, too.

I have been staying with extended family a few blocks from Peter K's. I have been there at least 4 times this week and wanted to wait until I ate there to write a review. First off this place may not a appeal to everyone's taste. It's very laid back and it's mostly a neighborhood bar. Not fancy at all.... More
