On a weekend visit we had lunch as we got to Newport on Fri . A friend had recommended this place. Great location, excellent food ( we all had sandwiches) fun decor( all kinds of things hanging on walls and ceilings) very nice and attentive wait staff. So good we went again Sat when it started to snow!

I had the Cajun Scallops on one visit and Garlic Bread Shrimp pizza and Rhode Island Red wings a couple days later along with a heavenly dessert and it was all great.

This place is a local favorite so if gets pretty packed. The food is great! During the winter time the French Onion Soup is the best. Great atmosphere, a little louder than what you would want for an intimate meal. Great place to go with friends and family.

really enjoyable place. Quirky decor. loud, brisk...good salad bar, seating, bar scene, good service. Food was quite good...I had jambalaya or some such; good beer selection. we both enjoyed it and it deserves its high accolades on TA.

Just because it was snowing and cold we didn't want to walk too far from our hotel and stopped by the BAP. We were immediately seated and handed menus. It took our server a few minutes to return to take our drink orders. Not a problem since they were busy. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The fried fish I... More

This was probably the best value meal we had in Newport. Service was quick, the food was what you'd expect, the price was right.

Fun atmosphere. The food was average, I had a burger which wasn't great, a bit under-cooked. Good portions. Waitress was friendly and attentive.

I enjoyed a meal here back in July when I was visiting with a tour group in the area. I ordered lobster bisque, a lobster roll and garden salad. The meal started off with the MOST AMAZING lobster bisque I have ever eaten. Actually I had NEVER eaten it before but I can still say it was the BEST ever!... More

The food was plentiful and of good quality. We were told the table would be up to 45 minutes and we waited 90, not a great start. Had it not have been snowing we would have left, and I wish we had. The service was not good, server was nice but not at all attentive, disappeared for ages, and by... More
