After looking around at several other area places, we wandered into this place, we were fortunate to find seating as by the time we left, the place was packed, we arrived at about 6. The pricing seems about average from what I can gather from looking at other places, for 2 Shabu Shabu dishes and one sukiyaki, we spent about... More

Contrary to another review, this is very typically Japanese, I went there with a friend who lived in Japan for 5 years and she confirmed this. One order is plenty for a person, I'd even say shareable. Tip: drink the resulting soup in the end!

This is an experience if you haven't tried it. You get boiling water in a pot and cook your own veggies and y=this sliced meats. Dip in soy, ginger, hot sauce. Try the lunch special or teriyaki. Slow leisurely pace and things get cooked and by you.

If you have eaten real Shabu Shabu in Japan, you'll know this place is not very authentic. Quality, Taste, Umami, Ingredients, Tare (dipping source), etc about everything.

Very delicious and the service was impeccable! We asked for a few modifications to the menu and they did what they could. Very friendly and the kobe beef was absolutely wonderful!

My local friend took me to this restaurant which specializes in hot-pot dishes. We ordered the house plate (I've forgotten the exact name) which comes with paper thin slices of meat and vegetables. I couldn't even finish mine, there was so much food. (I believe 8 oz. of meat). The meat cooked quickly in the hot-pot. The sauces are all... More

It was such a great food, the egg sauce was incredibly fresh. The meat was just amazing and the server was nice. A little over priced but still worth it!

I frequent this restaurant monthly. I understand that the ownership has changed but i still recognize familiar faces and the basic menu is the same. What draws us back again is the healthy choice soup base allowing us to flavor the soup to our own liking and the dipping sauces. i have noticed a new menu but our favorites are... More

this is a cook your-own-food-in-a-pot-in-front-of-you kind of place, but the broth was watery and we didn't really get any "instructions" on how to eat it...ie, what do we use for the raw meat, etc. the place next door gyu-taku is much better!
