I came while on vacation in Oahu as a tourist. The variety of food in the fridge was pretty bad unless you love fish balls, the broth was not spicy at all, the dipping sauces are all very sweet, meats are pretty expensive, I'm comparing this place against what i'm used to on the east coast, and i think it... My favorite hot pot: Lemon grass broth, beef, lotus roots, enoki mushrooms, and trying out various combinations of sauces. Their special broth was also good. The complimentary dessert is also great.

I was in Honolulu for a short time. I stopped by to eat my favorite hotpot. The service provided by all the young men servers are always super. The free desert is still great. The greens, the seafood are all excellent and fresh. I was in Honolulu only 4 days and ate there 2 times despite I had to wait... More

We had a chance to visit not knowing what to expect. You get to choose a broth in various flavors that serves as a base for your dish. Then a meat or meats followed by various vegetables are chosen. Finally the steaming hot pot with the base you chose is brought to you table and the additives are placed into the... More

I always eat here when Im in Honolulu. Honolulu now has few hot pot restaurants. This place is popular because it is the very first one came out. I gave it only 4 star because the do not stock up their food inventory as fast as I think it should be. THey should know and be ready to stock up... More

A simple hot pot shop, pick your ingredients for the soup and you are ready to go. The butter sauce and house sauce is amazing. To top it all off at the end is a Taiwanese shaved ice dessert. Very popular local joint.

The restaurant itself is an average cube shaped room that an Asian cuisine usually can be seen in. But the unique layout of the sauce bar and the refrigerators holding the side items gives the place a peppier vibe. Soup is unlimited, you can order one or more types from the menu that they have. If you have have a... More

We were dropping our daughter off at UH and her roommates all wanted us eat there. so, we took them to dinner on our last night there. I had never eaten at a hot pot restaurant before. The family style atmosphere is amazing! It was so fun to pick out our meat and veggies to drop into the pot to... More

This place was recommended to us by an Hawaiian woman on our flight into Honolulu. It was our first experience with a "hot pot". This is a large pot of stock, to which you add your choice of meats, fish, vegetables and pastas and cook it yourself at your table! What an experience! The "pot" was a concoction of flavor... More

My wife and I try to get hotpot in every location we visit. So far we've found it in Boston, NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, and now Honolulu. We like spicy flavorful broths, love a DYI dipping sauce bar, and quality meet and veggies. This is what we will review. This place was PERFECT in that category. We got the spicy broth... More
