Came to the sports bar right from our hotel there. Me and my buddie came from Calgary,AB and there was a flames game on that night. So we walked into Rivals to watch the game. And Proprietor by the name of Michale "Zo" Kawazone hooked us up with the game on the tv. And surprised us with flames tickets for... More

We came to Rivals since it was attached to our Hotel, the Ohana Malia. It is a typical sports bar with bar food and lots of TVs. What they do NOT have is enough staff to handle the guests. There was 1 bartender and 2 wait staff on the floor. We waited at a table for almost 15 minutes before... More

Great bar with multiple wide screen tvs.Saw the afl and rfl finals. They seem to have access to most sporting events. Happy hour is from 4 to 7 on week days. No free wifi but can access next doors'. People were enjoying the food too. Only one bar tender but he managed efficiently and happily. Great fun.

This is a great bar that is hidden away off the main street and has access to just about every sport you can imagine, with up to 10 big screen televisions dotted around the place. Being from Australia, it was the only place we could find in all Waikiki which could televise the AFL Football. The bartender was very accommodating... More

Rivals Sports Bar and UltraLounge was developed by owner Mike "ZO" Kawazoe as an alternative to the standard Waikiki bar. Mike's vision was to bring some class and sex appeal to Waikiki. By day, The Vegas inspired lounge provides Hawaii's most unique setting for watching any sporting event. When the sun goes down, Rivals transforms into Waikiki's premier UltraLounge, serving up handcrafted signature cocktails, domestic and craft beers as well as the state's most extensive whiskey collection. Always classy and never antiquated, Rivals offers up an atmosphere which lends itself to enjoying time with friends and socializing.
