This combination of Mecca for wine and saki lovers combined with a great bistro next door that will give you corkage on your purchase of dinner makes for perfect pairings. The wine prices varied enough for any budget but this is definitely where you go for medium to high end wine on Oahu. The tasting was great and solved the... More

The service is very friendly yet professional. The food is generally very good but very pricey. I enjoyed my visit but doubt I will go back.

The food here is of excellent quality and it is a nice place for a business lunch. The acoustics are not good however if the restaurant is full and you cannot ever hear yourself think. Surprisingly, the last 2 times I visited, the restaurant was nearly empty. Don't know if this is a bad omen or just 2 unusual days.

Was looking for a little more pizazz. Loved the wine store and corkage policy. We had four appetizers for our meal and the amount of food was plenty. The escargot and the bone marrow were very good. The ribs were OK and the charcuterie left a lot to be desired. The decor. is minimalistic inside but the garden is nice.... More

Must get the escargot & illi mushrooms...yummy! Did brunch here on Mother's Day and the buffet was done well. Two other dinner meals were delicious!

We were on our annual trip to Oahu and connected with friends who live here. They suggested HASR as we all like good wine, the wine store has a good selection and there is no corkage charged that evening on wines bought at the store. We were given great service at the wine store and the bistro. The food was... More

HASR has been one of our go to restaurants but this evening was a bust. We asked the waitress for a taste of the soup for our daughter and were told no! This is a first for us here. There was some weird excuse that I did not understand. I think dining establishments at this price point need professional wait... More

We literally stumbled upon HASR while on our way to another restaurant we had discovered which was overbooked, and a happy discovery it was too! It is near impossible to fine western cuisine, well prepared in this town. HASR is one of a handful of small upscale boutique restaurants in Chinatown. The neighborhood is tenuous, the parking worse, but the... More

We had our office function over lunch here and everyone had an excellent meal. All meals had a special flair to it. I had the pork sandwich which had some nice browned onions in it along with cooked slices of apple. The seafood ceviche was excellent, very fresh shrimps and scallops, and the plate of shrimp and pasta excellent too.... More
