We were traveling with another couple and she has a sweet tooth. When we went on a tour the driver had said, you have to have one of these Malasadas before you leave. Well, we did and they were very good; they must make them as you wait, because we received them warm as if they were just made. I... More

One thing on my list to tick off was to sample leanard's bakery donuts. One of our drivers told us it was #4 in the worlds best donuts- I would believe it. We walked from seaside avenue Waikiki but could have caught the #13 or #2 bus instead for $2.50. We were not disappointed. We ordered 2 original, 2 cinnamon... More

Malasadas from Leonard's Bakery are a tradition for locals and visitors alike. Can't eat just one of those warm, sugary, Portuguese donuts. There is no hole in the middle, but who cares?! These are worth the calories, at least once, for the melt in your mouth experience. A don't miss in Hawaii! Look for the red stripe food trucks on... More

Leonard's has the "BEST" malasadas and coffee cakes on Oahu. Try the chocolate debase or the haupia filled one. They are amazing.

Try the linguica wrapped with sweet bread. We shared a large one as smaller ones already sold out mid morning. Microwave available to lightly warm it. Dessert was custard filled malasadas. They can be purchased individually Sat on bench in front of packed bakery to eat them. Most people taking bags of pastries home. A short ride or about 50... More

Don't leave Oahu without sampling Leonard's malasadas. We're from New Orleans, where beignets are justly famous, but the dough of Leonard's version of these fried, sugared dough treats is different. Just try them! We avoided the long lines that form all day by going after dinner.

Leonard's Bakery here in Honolulu,Hi is well known for their Malasadas. It is a Portuguese doughnut coated with sugar, & also comes filled with custard, chocolate, or haupia if you like. You got to go early cause the line is non stop, but it moves fast. As soon as you get it you can't help but pop one in your... More

Had visitors over from Europe over the holidays and introduced them to Leonard's Malasada. We went back 3 more times to try the different flavors. Great place, awesome pastries!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu.
