Great Japanese hospitality, great food, great service. We were here twice within a week, for breakfast and dinner. Both were great. The waiters answered our questions patiently. They have outside seating as well, right beneath the huge tree, with wonderful views of the Rainbow bazaar in the Hilton HI Village.

I cannot recommend this restaurant. What a disappointment. Hilton Hawaiian Village is full of Japanese tourists and this is the only Japanese restaurant nearby. I figured this would be a safe choice. The prices were high. So although I was somewhat surprised, I figured that the prices were inflated for the tourist trade. I walked in for a late lunch.... More

The food is excellent and the sushi is fresh. Authentic Japanese dining can be experienced here. It's just way too pricey.

This was in the Village by our hotel. We wanted some sushi and decided to try it. The sushi was very good, we ordered a large platter that two of us split, it included several different types of cooked seafood. It was also good. We also had a pudding type dessert that was wonderful. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name.... More

After strolling the beach, we came out at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and walked into a small shop area just off the hotel. We browsed a few shops and came across this hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant. What a stroke of luck! We started with the shrimp tempura appetizer. Excellent! The tempura batter was not so thick that it... More

Not a huge selection of rolls but they did the basics very well. The avocado rolls were full of perfectly ripe avocado. The staff was very friendly.

The service is just normal. My breakfast took some 40 min, dont know why. There is a forced 15% tip for just an average restaurant and service

We had stopped at Hatsuhana of USA for lunch before, and when we came upon Hatsuhana, we thought that we would try it again for lunch. We were not disappointed. As luck would have it, there wasn't a big lunch crowd when we arrived. We were seated immediately. The staff is efficient, though some of the staff do not have... More

My wife and I had sushi at this Japanese restaurant. It was just ok. It appeared that all of the staff only spoke a little bit of English except for the management staff. This was not a problem unless you are looking for a recommendation on what to order. My wife and I had an assortment of sushi. It was... More
