We were walking in Chinatown and went by an open door that looked intrigueing. We have had dim sum in many places in many cities and this ranks as one of the best. Char su bao was awesome, as well as the su mei (giant). Probably the biggest sesame balls I've ever had, they were the size of a tennis... More

This is the best place to sit down and eat Dim Sum in Chinatown. I have been coming to eat here since I was little. The food and service is always good. I was in a group of 19 and we ate a lot of food. Our bill was only $147.00 and we were all well fed. We had a... More

My family and I came here for a late lunch after visiting the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. The drive to Chinatown is a short distance. Parking cost us $17 for 2 hours. Most of Chinatown was empty and most shops were closed but we found GOLDEN PALACE SEAFOOD to be open and empty. We were seated at a... More

If you are wandering around Chinatown and get hungry and you find yourself standing next to two large red pillars with gold dragons on them, then you are at the entrance of Golden Palace Seafood. So go ahead and pop in and grab a quick bite. This restaurant certainly seen better days, in the 90's, it is one of the... More

Gave this another chance at a sit-down Hong Kong-style (i.e., ordering off a cart rather than menu) and was pleasantly surprised :) The price used to be $1.49 per and the dirty carpet was such a turn-off that I would only do take-out. Well, prices increased, the carpet has been replaced by some dirt colored vinyl tile which must be... More

The outside looks presentable, actually not bad, and the bus stop back to Waikiki is right in front of the place. It must be at least OK, right? My wife and I went in during lunch time. They were serving Dim Sum but we want regular dishes and asked for a menu. Thick heavy menu with plenty of selections, and... More

When on Vacation rarely do we eat in the same place twice, wanting to try different cuisine. We made an exception with this restaurant. We loved the Dim Sum and regular menu items. The pot stickers were great and lo mien just right. The staffs English not so good but neither is my Chinese.

After the beach we visited Chinatown. Chinatown itself isn't that impressive, but has some good stores with fruits / veggies. Feeling a bit hungry we walked into this place. Ususally I check the reviews first...but didn't do on this one. Inside it's your typical Dim Sum place. Big round tables and staff walking around with their Dim Sum (and dessert)... More

Went on a weekday just before noon, so things were pretty slow. only a couple of carts, but we managed to sample a lot of our regular favourites. Dishes could have been hotter, but were ok. Would like to go back on a Sunday brunch to experience the dim sum at its best.

We ordered salt & pepper squid, salt & pepper shrimp, shrimp fried rice & stir fried vegetables. The food was really good, really great pricing. O the downside, China Town Honolulu really is run down & this restaurant clearly has seen better times. It's location is just in a sad part of town. The food is worth the adventure to... More
