I like this place. Nice atmosphere. I enjoy trying the different beers they have on rotation. For fall, I recommend the Seven Hefeweizen. I like coming here before Reds games. Good prices. I like that you can order beer in multiple different draft sizes! Food...More

Have been here several times. Fav food is short rib grilled cheese. They also have really good salmon. Huge variety of food and beers. On most recent visit attended a beer and food tasting. Chef did a unique pairing of food. Will do this again.

A great place to eat as long as the restaurant isn’t packed. The food selection is decent and so is the beer. Service was great and they accommodated us when we wanted to watch a hockey game vs a Refs game.

Stopped off before the ball game with Colleagues. Had the short rib cheese toast and a local beer from the brewery. Was very tasty and refreshing, quick service as I needed to get to the game. Would visit again.

We had such a nice time at dinner here. Good pricing, quality beverages, gorgeous views and a wonderful waiter. We called ahead for reservations so there was zero waiting and it was a busy night for them! Loved the ice cream dessert. If you’re in...More

Their offerings are historic and provide insight as to why a whole generation made these beers so popular..So go there and be prepared to enjoy their offerings and a great setting on the river near the ballpark.

There is a parking garage under/adjacent to. Make sure you park in section A as that will take you right up next to the lager house.

As long as you can get the private room and it's an appropriate size for your group, yes absolutely. The main restaurant can get noisy.

Description
The heritage of Cincinnati's storied brewing history comes alive along the banks of the Ohio River at this world-class restaurant and brewery. Prominently situated in the dynamic Smale Riverfront Park, the Moerlein Lager House offers a guest experience unlike any other—a working microbrewery producing a full line of Moerlein craft brews, and delectable fare featuring grain spent breads, hand-carved sandwiches, and smoked rotisserie meats… foods reminiscent of those served in the city’s celebrated 19th century beer gardens.
