We visited the Magpie with two of our friends. We hadn't booked but were made to feel very welcome. A tab was offered as soon as the staff knew we were dining, something not offered by many pubs. Although one of our first choices was...More

Fantastic. Had the Saturday surf and turf. Excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and a huge quantity. If the fish sharing platter hadn't been so delicious we would have cleared the lot. Very good value, will certainly eat here again

They had 130 gins and special mixers too. Went in not a gin drinker came out drinking some of them neat! And to top it off the live music was great! Can't wait for the next one 26-28th August

Title says it all. For two portions of chesy chips, in an empty restaurant, to take 30 mins to arrive is a little poor to say the least. When they came they were very nice so won't criticise unduly.

Hi, We're visiting for Sunday lunch on the 20th. If there's no space out front, could you recommend anywhere nearby to park? Thanks
