We enjoyed our dinner at the Lake Bar. The garlic shrimp starter was good and we both had lamb dishes, including lamb chops and the vegetable salad with grilled lamb. The meat wa sod good quality and cooked just right. The Bar has a good cocktail and wine list and we ended the meal with a very good Affogato with... More

We arrived late and after walking the town, settled on this place when they told us their kitchen was closing in three minutes! Whilst what we ordered was spicier than expected, they helped out by providing cream for the soup. This place was warm, friendly and had a great vibe about it. What stood out for us was the large... Near the end of the strip of stores and restos, the Lake Bar might be hard to miss. Located on the edge of the strip it is worth walking to. You might even find easier parking nearby. The front is mostly a bar but resto seating is behind the bar. I had the lamb special for $32 and my son... More

We had lunch here after completing the Roy's Peak hike and loved it. We sat down outside and were promptly greeted. I had the chicken sandwich and my husband had the fish and chips. Everything was great from the food to the service! Definitely a great spot for lunch with a view!

The night we visited the Lake Bar was in peak holiday time & the place was packed. Luckily we had a reservation as there were 12 of us dining. We had quite a wait for our meal but it was well worth it as everyone in our group enjoyed their dinner. Although we were seated down the back there are... More

Our tour brought us here for a wonderful supper. The ribs are amazing - very large and filling with a great BBQ sauce. We sat upstairs behind the bar. Lots going on. Service was helpful and friendly. Lots to choose from the menu and caters to carnivores. Well worth a visit.

Thank Murray B
