The assorted tempura was delicious walked down with great sake. Take time to understand all the menu options before ordering so as to not miss some great possibilities.

Look this is wanaka not Japan. So to some reviewers have unrealistic expectations. It's small it's clean and what they produce is fresh and good. If you need a Japanese hit this is a must. Always good, always consistent could be in Nozawa Onsen!
We love this place and come hear often for a lovely inexpensive lunch or a family meal with the kids. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and fab sake!
We loved this restaurant last time and again it did not disappoint. Bruno was a real character looking after us very well and the food was fabulous too. We will def be back! Be sure to book as only a small place.

We came here after a days skiing and were ravenous. The food didn't disappoint everything we had was good and we left feeling full. The restaurant has a great atmosphere but is small so it's best to book or you might miss out.
