Perfect place to enjoy the night breeze on the beach with a cold beer in your hand. Reggae style music under a sky plenty of stars. Relaxed atmosphere. Simply as paradise!

This is a great beach bar. In fact it is maybe a perfect execution of what the words "beach bar" are meant to convey. Cold beer. Cocktails with slices of fruit wedged onto the rim. A round bar overlooking the Indian ocean on one side and a stretch of white sand on the other. The wind off the water whips... More

Chill vibe and late nights. Recommend during the day (relaxing) or late nights! Drinks are slightly more expensive than the surrounding areas but worth it. The Chicken Pizza was awesome but took forever to come out - I think it is from the restaurant next door?

As the sweet night sea breeze blows into the air and the atmosphere becomes warm and hits your skin when at Jambo bar with a cold beer and a hot burning cigarette.... and cool house reggae music at the background there is no place I would rather advice you to be than at the Jambo Bar and Restaurant

We went to Jambo's because we heard the music coming while walking on the beach. It wasn't even Friday night, which is supposed to be their big party night. We had such a great time hanging out with the people and staff there. The bartender was amazing and extremely fun to order drinks with! We ended up staying way later... More

I went there to discover what is Paje's night life. I discovered a nice place, well organised, with a bar and charts songs. On my side I would have prefered something more local. I really like Swahili charts, so I was just a little disappointed for this. Otherwise, 10000TZS to get in, in fact it's cheap, but for this place... More

I visited the bar which is right on the beach. It is very quaint, decorated in a traditional local manner. The atmosphere is very festive and fun. The staff is very friendly and make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend it.

Jambo Friday is fun and busy and the music is good. The prices on beverage is the same as everywhere else, but everyone have to pay entrance fee (I think it is 10.000TSH). We had lunch at the place one time and that was very disappointing. The portions was small, the pasta was cold and it costed 13.000TSH per portion.... More

Everyone knows Jambo. Parties every weekend, bonfires every night. The circular bar is a great place to get to know people, and you will definitely become friends with the staff. Benches and hammocks are around to enjoy the oceanside view. During especially high tide, the water will literally lap at your feet while you're sitting at the bar. All that... More
