raves were good but lunch was very disappointing, deep fried prawns were not fresh and had been fried in old fishy oil, chicken and cashews had very little chicken in it, instead if was loaded with taro and had no taste, padthai was also pretty woeful. Some drinks(fruit) were not available as was some menu items as they had run out(this... More

I am on a Visa run to Ranong, so I figure I will crash in Chumphon for a night then hit the minivan in the morning. Checked out TripAdvisor for a nearby Restaurant since my favorite sukiyaki place isn't open yet and Prikhorm looked interesting. Took a seat, read the menu, read it again, finally got a visit from the... More

The menu is extensive! I have eaten here many times over the last ten years... alway leaving satisfied. The fish would only be fresher if you pulled it out of the sea yourself. Vegetarian, chicken, beef, pork, you can't lose. The sauces are wonderful, but the one with tamarind, lime and chilly, well let's just say I could drink it.... More

Ordered three dishes - two were tasteless the other just OK I like hot and spicy local food, this restaurant is more like Chinese than Thai re flavour and seems to cater for large groups. The service was good and the singer was "entertaining" I will stick to the local night market more taste, fun atmosphere and half the price.

This is a good find a little more expensive but really lovely food. The staff are very helpful and have a fair understanding of English. Menu is in Thai and English,I would recommend the pork knuckle with vegetable rice. Many more tasty dishes. The evenings I visited their was music ( Kareoke ) does not cause any problems you can... This was okay. One dish had absolutely no taste but the other one was fine. Very cheap. Local singer was funny to see :-) If you're just hungry this is a good place to eat, but don't expect more than that.

Clean efficient and friendly service. Comprehensive menu and good quality food at very reasonable prices. One of our Chumphon favourites.

I came early on a Saturday night only me and a tipsy local guy.Service was nice and friendly and my waitress had a good understanding of English. I ordered spicy steamed mussels with garlic ,they were spicy but still easily edible for a longtime Thai expat, the spicy raw salmon salad was very good and not to hot and my final... More

This is a one of a kind in Chumphon. You know it is good when the uppercrust of the locals select it as a place to sit down with their families. Expansive menus of great food, awesome drinks, and live music in the evenings. If you are passing trough or enjoying an evening at A-te hotel, this is the place... More

In this sad town this was possibly our only and best dinner option and we were more than disappointed. The waiting staff spoke no english apart from the word "yes". The options were poor for a vegetarian who would like something other than fried vegetables. Taste wise it was average at best. Throughout the dining experience we were serenaded by... More
