The Grappolo is an excellent restaurant and the owner is a great guy. English is fluent and the service is great. Every meal I had was fantastic and a small/friendly environment.

What a super place small people are very friendly and food is incredible. We where lucky to have a spot at lunch around 13:00 the place was.! Wine list endless and very interesting. When you visit Arona have lunch or dinner there but make a reservation!!

More

The location is really quaint and it definitely points to the strong suit of the restaurant: its wine selection. In fact, the wine list and the beer list very largely outweigh the menu, that is notable for very few entries. That is usually something that I consider very positively, but in this case it offers precious little to those who... More

I went there with a group of friends. Amazing food, really welcome place. The staff good. The cheese was one of a wind, all the salads and pastas really good. Recommend

Nice place, good wine, food could be more refined. And speed of service should improve. Apparently a local hero, and very good guy. Did however not see a lot of finesse in the kitchen. Wine is up to par.

Lovely ambiance friendly service. Good menu choices, we sampled the most delicious risotto which was perfectly cooked. We were too ambitious and ordered 3 courses (excluding desert), don’t do it! Next time we would go for their meat or charcuterie selection (which are enormous) and then the delicious risotto. Great wine. We even bought some excellent Prosecco to take home.

Stopped in here on the recommendation of a friend and was very impressed. They focus on in-season and locally sourced ingredients. The food, service and ambience were all excellent. Highly recommended as a great place to eat in Arona.

This place has it all! Great service, food, wine, and atmosphere. The owner Stefano is so friendly and filled with a wealth of knowledge of wine to pair your meal perfectly. With a quick email he always has a seat for me and my guests. It is the go to spot for all my friends and family who visited.

We were the first customers of the quiet and rainy night but soon the place was full. Really friendly and personal service by the patron himself, superb risotto after which we skipped the secondi just as he predicted. This is an enoteca so the wines served with every course were splendid, even when we took them by the glas. Nice... More
