Tiny restaurant with an excellent reputation. Only half a dozen tables so get there before 1230 or book in advance for lunch. Excellent range of starters placed on the table on arrival (octopus salad was divine). Local red wine was phenomenal, rarely have I had such a good red served as a carafe. Menu specialises in local rustic dishes. Superb... More

The waiter was really nice and sympathy, we have a really nice lunch, and the food was good. The food was really good but I think it was expensive.

Excelent tipical food from Alentejo. For starters the ham and the cheese were amazing, main course Migas and grilled Lamb, delicious. The deserts were excelent also. At the end we payed around 50€ (2 adults and a child), not so cheap, but the quality of the food was indeed very good, and worth the money.

It was not worth a second visit. Overpriced compared with other restaurants around. We were not impressed with the quality.

A very warm and welcoming atmosphere with a limited but excellent menu of locally sourced produce. Very central and the waiter was extremely helpful.

Very good choice. Although it is quite small its service and food is well worth the visit. Totally recommend if you look for warmth and traditional food.

They were open early, service was great, husband and wife make this place what it is. Locals came in closer to 9:00pm. We loved it all and were most surprised at the quality of food we were served.

From beginning to end of our dinner here on a May night, this restaurant's offerings were a pleasure. The owner is a tall, stately gentleman, and the furnishings and cuisine are right in line: a small, well-dressed room with perhaps ten tables and cloth napkins. The food is clean, simple, and honest. Starters consisted of the excellent Portuguese light wheat... More
