We visited on a Monday night - great atmosphere inside and very smarty set out. Great menu with a wide choice and fair pricing including drinks. Very happy to go back with a larger group. A credit to Mere.

My husband, myself and two friends visited the Indigo Lounge Sunday evening. We are so glad we did. The food was delicious, the service and staff were all excellent. Very friendly and welcoming I highly recommend this restaurant. It is sensibly priced for good quality food. If we were ever in the area again we would most certainly return.

The Indigo Lounge as it is now renamed is a great place to eat. Great variety of dishes, which you can see being cooked, and great customer service. They also do a take away menu.

Took friends from Wincanton.....we enjoyed the meal, they enjoyed the meal......good value, good service, whilst it wasn't exactly buzzing the atmosphere was great in which to entertain.......and having used all "Indian" restaurants within a half an hours car journey......Indigo Blue stacks up really well.........absolutely no pressure from staff....no hovering.....but had the meal nicely paced.....why go anywhere else....leave the car and... How this restaurant survives one does wonder as there is almost never anyone in it. Having said that it can't be due to poor quality as we have never had a bad meal. Good Indian food at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit!

Managed to get a late booking with friends and the place was buzzing which was great. Service and food was excellent and very reasonably price with generous portions even our men couldn't finish. However they didn't have any puddings which was a huge disappointment, not even an ice-cream! Not sure if this is the norm. Otherwise it was excellent.

What a surprise in a tiny village..freshly cooked and tasty and a wide choice..we had prawn on puree and onion bargee..the prawn starter was almost enough for a main course..followed by chicken tikka massala and chicken tikka balti..special rice and the nicest bombay potatoes I have tasted..washed down with Bangla beer..all at a reasonable price...we will be back.

This restaurant has recently reopened as Indigo Lounge. Excellent service and freshly cooked dishes. The vegetable selection was brilliant. Really good value.

The restaurant has always been very good in our experience but the meal eaten last week was the best we have had anywhere - and we have tried a couple of the top London ones. The house special dishes were all exceptional with really clear flavours and obviously fresh ingredients. The restaurant was closed recently but has re-opened with the... More
