We ate and stayed in the rooms at Scott's in March 2012. Lovely starter and main course of fresh seafood and it was cooked very well. I would definitely recommend this place to both eat and stay.

Last week whilst in Tarbert again I revisted Scotts Bistro on the harbour front. As before I was greeted with a very warm welcome and mouth watering menu! I went for the mackrel pate followed by scollops and salad. I just love fish dishes and I was not disappointed! The freshly homemade mackrel pate was delicious and went so well... More

Fully recommend this place! The food was simple but if you stick with local product you can't go wrong here! Superb value for money! Lovely and friendly staff as well. We actually preferred this over the dining experience in the Stonefield castle.

Superb quality food, locally sourced, well cooked and with great service. John and Kristen deserve every accolade for creating a great little bistro right on the harbour front in the middle of Tarbert. Don't miss out on a lttle gem!.

We have eaten at Scott's on a number of occasions and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is well laid out and is always very clean. There is a good range of freshly cooked to order food on offer and the food is of excellent quality. We would recommend a visit to Scott's restaurant when visiting Tarbert.

Yet again Scott’s did not fail to disappoint. Another outstanding Sea Bream I am sure no one will find a fish cooked to such perfection anywhere in the world! The view out of the window adds to the perfect setting that the Scott’s have created in their superbly appointed restaurant. Anyone looking for a place to eat or stay in... More

Being November in Tarbert, the restaurant was quiet, but the food & service were excellent.. Seafood was excellent, perhaps a reflection of being right on fish quayside, only 1 fish on the main menu, would have been nice to have more but the sea bream was amazing. Italian theme to the menu was inspired and the pizzas are certainly worth... More

Appealing decor with outlook over Tarbert harbour. Enjoyed fresh seafood with ample side salads and vegetables. Small intimate dining area with friendly host. Enjoyed our meal thoroughly.
