And not bad chips but expensive but probably the best place around for fish and chips. Venue is just about wheelchair accessible and for an traditional fish and chip shop is good.

Although I only tried the chips, which were very good indeed, the fish going out looked very good and smelled delicious! Generous sized portions, southern fried chicken too. I will certainly visit again!
We stay at Portmeirion for two weeks every summer and always enjoy a takeaway from Allport's. Everything that they make is to a high standard, its one of the few fish and chip shops which compare to fish and chips we buy locally back home.
Had fish and chips here last week, it was ok, nothing spectacular. The service was underwhelming. not a lot of other options available in portmadog in November at night though.
