Arrived at Long Beach just as the night market was getting started, so not too full of patrons. Had the Swordfish, Lamb Kurma and Char Kuay Teow - all were good enough to want to return. Only problem is we are staying near Gurney Drive for our vacation. We wanted to see what the Batu Ferringhi beach and night market... More

This is a cafeteria type restaurant which has lots of different types of food. We have tried most of them and they have all been great. All very fresh and full of flavour.

Went here on Tuesday evening, place was very busy, a sign of a decent place to eat compared with other places. Looked like there were a lot of options but I went straight for the char kuey teow stand in the corner. All cooked fresh & reasonable price considering the location and what others were charging. RM5 for a standard... More

Eat from all round the world. Wander round this amazing Hawker centre and choose each plate of food. Tell the stall your table number and pay then when your hot food is delivered! Drinks servers are wandering around all the time so order your cold beer or juice and again pay them on the spot. The food is really tasty,... More

its good for the huge variety of different cuisines. we had fresh prawns and fish that we selected from a bed of ice and was cooked fresh as we watched. we loved the local cuisine and tried to have a taste of so many new things. the coconut icecream with caramel sauce was decadent.

If you want to smell the sewerage as you dine then this is the place for you. The food is greasy and inedible. The place is filthy but on a positive it's cheap.

Long Beach Hawker Centre is a great option if you are staying nearby. The food is decent and the prices are cheap by tourist standards. We ate there on several nights and our favourite dishes were the char kway teow, tandoori chicken, and deep fried spring rolls. Pizzas kept the kids happy! If you are new to Penang hawker centres,... As you head into Batu Ferringgi from Georgetown, you will find this after you go past Shangri la's Rasa Sayang Resort, Golden Sands and Lone Pine Resorts. There is quite good variety of food stalls ranging from Malay, Indian, Chinese, Western and pizza. Had quite a few dinners at this food court. Generally, it doesn't get busy until after 7... More

Description
Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!
