I can't say enough about the pizza. It's made in behind glass so you can see it being made and they cook it in a wood burning oven, old school style! It's delicious. My favorite is the Diavola. My husband ordered the lasagna and it is really fresh. Layered with generous amounts of meat, cheese, and tomato sauce it was... More

The food is absolutely terrific. Quality and quantity are superb. We usually had an appetizer each and then shared an entree. Only once were we able to fit a dessert into our pleasantly filled stomachs. Now to the service. From the warm welcome as we entered to the friendly waves as we left, our every need was met with warm... More

The food at Amici's pretty good but not for what you pay. The pizza is wood fired and tasty but small. The pasta was fresh and good but priced like you are in a big city.

The carbonara and Hawaiian pizza (so thin, my favorite!) hit the spot! We were looking for Italian comfort food that evening and we got it! BUT, the tiramisu and panna cotta left my taste buds speechless.... More

Two of has had pizza and two of us had pasta. Pizza was good but not as good as some of the reviews on here in my opinion. The pasta was delish. Never thought I'd have such a great pasta dish in Costa Rica! Don't miss this place, add it to your list while here.

Chef Giovanni Carzedda from Trattoria D.O.C (Chicago) and Pizzaiolo Angelo Grimaldi from I Monelli Trattoria Pizzeria (Chicago) , after 10 years of experience in their kitchens in the great metropolis Chicago, they decided to bring their culinary experiences here in Santa Teresa, to share with you their passion for Italian food which they grew up with in Italy. Here at Amici's you have the chance to taste a lot of italian specialties ,from salads, homemade pasta, fish and meat, and especially our famous pizza cooked the old way in our wood-burning brick oven, voted one of the best pizza's in Costa Rica.
