A gem of you love good food and wine

Me and my husband always try to read reviews before we choose where to eat. As we did this time. If you are in Crete Platanias, this is a restaurant worth a detour. The food is great, and of you like us like the combination...of food and wine, this is the place to visit. One of the things I like with France, is the pride they often take in preparing a good meal and combining it with the perfect match of wine. This restaurant gave me the exact same feeling. Very good food and wine at the beach

Excellent food and exquisite wine at a superb location at the beach. The menu is full of the Greek specialities that you expect and there is quite a few dishes to choose from. The staff is very knowledgeabel in wines and they have a very...good assortment of Greek wines. You get excellent guidance in choosing the right wine for your dish with several different options to choose from. Both the wines and the food is at a very good price as well. We had a very good evening with very good food, excellent wine and a very good discussion on wines with our waiter. We had a lovely time and super good food and wine! We have been here before and we will be back again.More

We were at Kyano two times during our stay in Platanias and received best service and delicius food both times!

Super service! Super menue! Super view! Best restaurant in Platanias! We enjoyed mixed grilled seafood - worth every euro!!

Best restaurant in the area for loads of reasons

Best restaurant in the whole area. Great owner, great service and great food and wine. Location is superb, lawn under trees on the beach! doesn't get better than that.

Excellent beach restaurant

One of my favorite beach restaurants in Platanias. Excellent food, great wine (very large selection), professional and kind service as well as beautiful ambience just by the sea. I really enjoy the grilled seabass or their top quality angus steak. Do try their wine from...Nemea based on the Agiorgitiko grape. Ask Yiannis for insights on wine. Delicious food, nice staff and good beer assortment

Delicious food, really nice staff and good atmosphere just by the beach. Good assortment of local beers, much more to choose from for those who want something different from the typical lagers found everywhere. The pizzas were some of the best we tried, the sallads...super delicious and the lamb chops are also reccomended.More

Kyano beach restaurant

We visited here with the family this week and we were really pleased we chose Kyano. The food was great, the service was fantastic, the location and venue are superb. Had a really lovey meal here and would highly recommend.

Our favorite restaurant in Platanias

We have been visiting the restaurant for many years and we have always had wonderful food and excellent service. In addition, the restaurant is perfectly located on the edge of the beach with the most beautiful sunset. We will come again, again.

An excellent restaurant!

Fabulous

Very nice location right on the beach with nice baclground music. We had an absolutely fabulous dinner here. Best klefteki lamb i ever had and closed off with a walking zombie. Would recommend!

Just the best

Dont even know how to begin telling how excelente this resturant is. Have been there 4 times already and will for sure go many mor time, during our vacstion. The food is without a doubt 10 outof 10. The staff and the service the provide...is impecable. The are for sure an example for other resturantes to follow. The resturant it self is cosy and clean. Recomend this resturant higly.More
