Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just returned from 2 weeks in Petra over Greek Easter Ate here on 8 nights. Great meals ,great prices and great service Excellent selection of Greek food, Fish and Grilled Meat. Excellent house red. and large selection of other drinks. It was busy most nights...and tourist season has not really begun yet. Many locals eat here so it would be best to book. Even with it being busy service was good. Remember the meals are all cooked fresh. Take your seat, order a drink and chill out. Magda,Tryfonis,Sophia,Costas , mum and dad and rest of staff all work so hard. Always have smiles on their faces. Hope to see you later in yearMore

Eating here tonight, our 4th time this holiday as our favorite place. Lots of delicious traditional Greek dishes, all cooked really well. would recommend the Meze for 2, calamari, mousaka, prawn saganaki, lamb kleftico and Greek salad. The is a great ambience, all the staff...are lovely, but a special mention to Magdalena who always has a smile and a cheery word. It's wise to book ahead as gets very busy.More

Lovely authentic food. We had Greek salad, stuffed cabbage leaves in lemon sauce and papoutsakia. All wonderful and not too salty as we have found in some tavernas.

We came to Petra in 2009 & 2010, this was our favourite restaurant. We’re in Petra again & the first restaurant we wanted to go to on our first night was the Women’s Co-Operative, we arrived at 5.30pm & as it was early we didn’t...need to book. The service, our meals and drinks were the best, definitely didn’t disappoint, still our favourite. We will definitely return during our holiday.More

Tried a walk-in but told fully booked. Place was rammed so took that as good sign and booked for 9pm the following evening. Arrived and shown to table only to be sat there for 25 minutes without so much as being offered a drink. Walked...out and spent our money elsewhere.More

Great food at a great price. Amazing local recipies. I loved the stuffed zuccini flowers - the best I have ever tasted! The fried kalamari was melting in my mouth. Everything was great. The staff were very polite. We will come again

Sorry to say that last night's meal was a huge disappointment, ate here years ago while in Anaxos so was hoping for a repeat but sadly not. Booked a table for 7.30 on the outside which was set for us on arrival so all seemed...good. Were greeted warmly but then had a 15 minute wait for drinks, another 5 or so minutes later we were asked if we had chosen our food which we had. Waiter took the menus but not our order !!! Another 10 minutes later different waiter came to take order, food was slow arriving and my meal was wrong. Pointed it out and it was removed only for the correct 1 to arrive 5 minutes after everyone else had finished eating. Ni heartfelt apology or explanation offered, paid the bill in Full and didn't tip for the 1st time ever in Lesbos, very disappointed to say the least.More

This place Is simply incredible. The history behind it. The service. The food. The location. THE VIEW. all 10/10, amazing. We were on a long overdue family holiday with two young children and four adults. Staff were very friendly and food was great, deep fried...pumpkin flowers / stifado and fava.... What is not to like. Great organic wine including an orange one which unless you live in London you just don't get in the UK! Really chilled and very enjoyable evening and would recommend to anyone coming to Petra or even Lesvos! It's worth the trip! The view if you can get a table outside is incredibleMore

Arrived in Petra on a Sunday and decided to try this restaurant on our first night. The staircase to the premises is not obvious so like us, first timers will have a wander about for a while ha ha. It is worth it though, we...got a lovely table on the terrace and although quite busy we managed a table without booking. Service was very good and the food excellent. Two starters, two mains and a litre of house wine for under 50 euros represented great value.More

We booked as advised - once we found it, a staircase behind the Kantina bar. Glad we had as very busy. Very warm welcome from friendly hosts. Great table on front of terrace, to enjoy sunset. Wide selection of traditional dishes. Our choices were good....Quality of food super. Only problem - portions were too generous. Atmosphere felt warm and friendly, so we had a lovely evening and booked to return before leaving.More

We ate here on 4 separate occasions and really enjoyed the food, service, house wine and lovely views. It gets really busy so book in advance or bob up during the day. It’s accessed from the side street near Kantina up some steep steps. We...loved the Greek salad, prawn saganaki, moussaka and the enormous pork chop we ordered twice was super juicy and flavourful. The chocolate cake we were offered free of charge was also beautiful. Would happily go back.More
