Recommended by friends who had recently stayed in Rhodes. Lovely location and very friendly staff. We had the tournedos steak which was fantastic. It's not cheap but was very definitely worth it.

Wonder is a well established restaurant just outside the old town walls. Here you will find one of the most beautiful settings to eat beautiful food. Bougainvillea adorns the courtyard of this neoclassical building giving a feeling of luxurious dining before the food arrives. When...the food does arrive, you will be treated to flavours to cater for every pallete. The sauces are perfectly balanced and paired excellently with their accompanying meat or fish. Their signature dish of scallops is possibly the best on the menu. Desserts, where to begin? The creme brulee with lime is as good a dessert as you will find anywhere. I can also attest that the rest of the sweet delights are high class and scrumptious. What a fantastic restaurant in every respect. Beautiful decor, friendly waiters delicious food, wine and cocktails. We ate most of the vegetarian options on the menu: Beetroot & Buckwheat salad, Lemon Risotto, Cheese Spring Rolls, Cream Mushrooms , Fries, Caramelized Cheesecake, Creme Brulee, Not only...is the food outstanding the prices are very reasonable. We are holidaying in Rhodes town. Went here tonight for dinner. We hadn’t booked, but a table was found. Initially I was worried as all seating is outside and it was warm and “ muggy” to my English temperament. But in fact it was lovely...sitting outside in the lovely green courtyard. We shared a mushroom risotto to start, then my husband had fillet of stuffed with salmon mouse. I had a lovely chicken Caesar salad. We shared a Coupe Passion dessert ( a posh knickerbocker glory ) Wine and beer were reasonably priced. Service was good. Happy to recommend.More
