My husband and I stopped here for a rest while the rest of our group went up to Montalcino. Thank goodness we were allowed to rest and were not hurried to leave, as we were both exhausted. We had coffee (€1.50), tea (€2.00) and a variety of sweet pastries. Total bill was only €9- what a deal for a quiet... More

This was the best impromptu turn that we took on our trip through Italy!! We found their beautiful patio just before sunset and had to stop. We were fortunate to get the corner table overlooking a courtyard and gazing out across the fields and hillside. We ordered the flight of brunello's and simply asked for a cheese and bruchetta antipasti.... More

There are so many cafe's in Italy, so when you find the perfect, hot frothy cappuccino for just over one euro, you go back every day. The staff is super friendly and it provides many selections of food to complement a perfect cup of coffee.

We have eaten here twice since our arrival, and will be breakfasting here tomorrow. The food is good, as is the coffee. If it's a nice day ask about sitting in the garden, which is outdoors with fabulous views on all sides

Had some stodgy pici spaghetti (local speciality) with very tasty tomatoes and garlic. A bruschetta sampler - regular with tomatoes, liver pate, truffle pate and garlic oil. Nice peaceful view over the valley below with a couple of wine tasters the region is famous for.

We had our breakfasts at this bar, which was two steps down from our rooms at Il Barlanzone. The coffee was excellent and the brioche a generous size. They also have tables outside across the road, and I was pleasantly surprised not to be charged more when we took our breakfast out to sit under the trees. All reasonably priced... More

Walked into a friendly environment with excellent service. We wanted to try the famous wine, without the pressure of buying a bottle. We found this caffe, that has 3 separate rooms, as well as a terrasse with a beautiful view. We had already eaten something, so opted to share the pici pasta with Tuscan sauce and a 2 glass tasting... More

This is a great, friendly local bakery which serves up some fantastic cappuccino, croissants (love that custard) and gave me some great helpful advice on the town. It is located near the fort and above the town's free parking lot - highly recommended!! They also sell inexpensive sandwiches, etc...

My daughter and I didn't have the pleasure of dining but had dessert and coffee on a chilly, fall afternoon. The service was pleasant, the coffee and dessert exceptional.
