After a long long day of travelling we arrived for our first evening, absolutely starving. Without really knowing where to go we stopped here after El Casolani was booked. The menu looked good but after being quickly seated we had to wait a while to have our orders taken and the waiter seemed pretty disinterested....... Not in Italy, surely. After... More

You get the impression the friendly but tired staff have to deal with tourists every day. They just seemed exhausted. The food came out quickly; our half bottle of Chianti was delicious. My gnocchi with prawns was delicious (although I wish the prawns were pealed); my daughter's pizza was good; my husband's calzone tasty; and my son's sausage, beans and... More

Sat outside in the open, risking it some what as the sky looked a bit ominous, but it was so much nicer than being inside or even under the large covered outdoor area. Great sharing Tuscan Plate of salami and cheese followed by good pizzas all round. A very rich Tiramisu and a good house wine completed our lovely family... More

A packed restaurant, doing good business amongst Italians, every place filled - so I guess I must be wrong. However, we had a dreadful meal. It was understaffed, others who came in later were served before us and the poor hard working waitresses didn't have the time to show any warmth or friendliness. Food came very slowly and our meals... More

customer friendly. unfortunately we had a death in the family that we did not work well. our restaurant is one of the most renowned in the country, with Italians, new tourists and tourists who come to us for a long time just to eat. Excuse us yet. More

We ate at Il Porrina twice during our stay in the area. In both cases the service was excellent and the food portions were great and very tasty. We had pork with prunes and salmon steak after an appetizer of prosciutto and melon the first time and pappardelle with boar sauce and spaghetti with seafood the second time. The prices... More

We had eaten here last year and we were more than happy to come back, the staff are very pleasant, you can eat inside or outside under a covered area. Some of the guests asked to move inside but being English we are made of stern stuff and didn't let a little breeze drive us indoors. All the food we... More

We went here because we'd been recommended it by someone. I've seen some reviews about the price and the service of this place being bad, but I found both to be just fine. We both had good meals (My wife had Ravioli and I had Papperedelle). The cost was well within what we expected to pay. I'd say that if... More

Ate here twice during a week's stay. Food was good both times but, as others have commented, service is inconsistent both in speed and delivery. I had pasta on both occasions and it was fine, but others I was eating with had pizzas and I don't think they are as good as I'd expect in this area. On the other... More

We are in our third week in Italy and this is by far the worth restaurant in which we have lunched. Most of the menue is made of Frozen food, and it is pretty expansive considering 7 raviolis for 7 euros ... The village is Nice but you will probably appreciate other places for lunch time.
