Our family had a meal at the marine and shared a few drinks, the service was great and we had a good view of the sea. There is also a play area for the children which kept them happy.

Recent refurbishment looks nice, but not child friendly for those with younger children. Service inconsistent and there have been some issues with the food, running out of stock a biggy. However, the manager has been more than apologetic and tried to sort things out. Keep trying! In its favour, the location is superb and food service hours are the best... More

This hotel has recently been re furbished and is now beautifully set out but fails completely to be a comfortable eating place due to the very small tables, we visited on Saturday but left without having a meal, most of the new tables are barely large enough for two people to sit at with drinks and certainly not large enough... Well, what difference a bit of money thrown at a lovely pub has made! A warm welcome from the landlady, new everything. Candles and flowers on the table, all lovely. Defo worth a visit. Mon-Sat 2 meals from £11.49 and a drin for a quid, it is a no brainer.

A great pub at the top of the hill. Good selection of food, I had the soup of the day which was delicious. Didn't have to wait too long for the food considering it was very busy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit
