Been for lunch a number of times now, lovely recently refurbished bar with stunning sea views. The food was lovely pub grub food which was good value for money. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant as well, which was handy.

Had a morning hot chocolate tea with lemon cheesecake and chocolate churros both were very nice, pleasant place to stop and watch the sea

Chips were under-cooked. Fish batter was soft and fish tasteless. Mushy peas were cold. Have had much better there. Restaurant was empty so no excuses. Poor value for money.

Visited with mum for a Sunday lunch. Previous visits hadn't been a let down but despite good choice of food and chose a roast _ wish I hadn't !! Over cooked and barely hot. To make matters worse bar had ran out of Chardonnay!! Will think twice next time.

Well what can I say... really surprised as we have been here on several occasions and all was fine apart from this time and unfortunately this is the last time. Really badly presented food looking awful... basically dumped on the plate and without a doubt microwaved 😯😯😯 such a shame

The diverse selection on the menu outside and the light, spacious dining area brought us into this place. The food was good quality and reasonably priced (although the portions on the £10 meals were a little small). It's a place where you order at the bar. The arrival of the food took a little longer than most places. Overall, it... More

I don't understand how people are raving over this restaurant as in our opinion at best its just average. The menu is very limited ................no sign of any salads(only as a side dish) and the the rest of the menu is very ordinary...............no 'specials ' board on the day we went. Dislike queuing up at the bar to order and... More

A welcoming coffee bar, where staff are friendly, greeting familiar customers readily and with respect. The coffee is good, served in an italian sized cup for cappuccino or a regular. Once Bellos coffee bar closed, this is the place to go for a decent coffee and ambiance

Spending time with family is always enjoyable and this birthday treat was made even better by the attention we received at Ballards. Being a Friday we weren't sure about our chances of finding a table but we were greeted by very attentive staff, lovely clean decor and beautiful food. My sea bass was cooked incredibly well, as was mums liver... More
