The best freshly cooked and amazing produce on a meal out in some time. We visit today for lunch and have been using cardak since it opened 10 years ago. We had the mixed kebab and wow it was sensational, the meat was so tender...you barely had to chew it. This family owned and run restaurant never fails to delight in quality and service. You must make an effort to visit them for lunch or evening meal when in Broadstairs. Fantastic wine selection too. Have been to this restaurant many times and usually very satisfied. Went for an evening meal recently the price has gone up but the quantity and quality has gone down ; £50 for two kebabs & two drinks , would of had more of a...portion from the kebab shop at half the price!! Sad to say we will not be returning to this restaurantMore

I would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone. I live local to broadstairs and this was the first time I ate here on a Thursday evening and I would 100% come again. Our waitress (a young girl) was very accommodating and helpful. The portions...were so loathe that after having one starter I was so full that instead of having a main I just had another starter as my main. The lahmacun is to die for!! As a I am Turkish myself i am very picky about my lahmacun but it was perfect and authentic. 10/10 very impressed.More

Travelled from London arrived late. Wonderful friendly reception from what looks like a family run business. Quick and accurate service. Large starter portions of taramasalata and Houmous. Delicious fresh hot bread and they offered more. Kids (aged 9 and 13) well catered for. Chicken wings...with rice and chicken shish with chips. Adults - good sea bass, mixed grilled kebab and I had lovely chicken Tavuk Sote. Would come again!More

Super meal as always. Excellent service. Cocktails were perfect. Food delicious. Atmosphere great. This is definitely the best & most authentic Turkish. Highly recommended & for all ages , families, groups, couples or party get togethers.

So we have visited Cardak quite a few times and have had some good experiences here. On our visit today we were both disappointed with the quality of the food as it has taken a turn for the worse. The quality of the salad was...poor and the meat was quite flavourless and portions have got smaller. The more disappointing part was that the price of all dishes has gone up by quite a few pounds. I shall not be returning nor would I recommend this place anymore, I would recommend visiting The Minster Meze and Grill if you want better quality food at a better price with better service. On the drive home I couldn’t help but feel like I’d been robbed.More
