Lovely friendly place with great food. We called in for breakfast and were really well looked after. The full English hit the spot and the waffles and fruit with maple syrup were delicious. Also decent value drinks. A pot of tea for 2 was only £3. Lovely chat with the owner. Go there!

Fantastic restaurant in a very accessible location in Broadstairs, the staff were incredibly affable with great advice of what to have.
The food was incredibly delicious, I had the gammon ciabatta and my partner had the Buddha bowl, both were fantastically prepared and well flavoured, my partner loved how fresh and delicious the food was.
We also grabbed coffee and cake, there is a great range of cakes for different dietary requirements ours was gluten free and vegan and tasted fantastic!

My daughter and I were looking for a quick milkshake treat this past Saturday. We walked into Bella’s and were greeted by Kirsty, she was immediately friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Kirsty took time to play with my daughter and make her laugh and we had a lovely chat. Kirsty’s customer service skills for her age are to be celebrated, she took great care of us. She is a credit to the team and we had a lovely time, we will be back!

Only two menus to start, and expensive but supposedly a treat.
Breakfast said potato and thyme rosti = hash brown, after ordering and apon delivery the plate looked a mess and the order was incorrect, had to wait for cutlery and were given forks and again had to wait for knives to be washed up, sausage was deep fried and split open poached eggs were amazingly hard boiled in the middle and snotty whites ! . Full payment expected. Overheard other complaints from most tables as well whilst waiting

I was looking for lunch in Broadstairs and decided not to go to one of the big providers but to try a local cafe. So I went to Bella's in the High Street.
For £8.95, they were advertising a bowl of nachos which the menu said was "loaded with melted cheese, nacho cheese sauce, guacamole, sour cream, jalapenos and house salsa".
When the dish came, it was a bowl of Doritos, garnished with several halved cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. At the bottom of the dish there was the merest smattering of chopped white onion and what I took to be a sprinkle of cheddar. When I told the waitress that the dish bore no relation to the item on the menu, she said "we have changed the menu".
I told her she should have told me before the order was confirmed. She gave me a bowl of guacamole at that point, which helped somewhat, but was still nothing like the dish advertised. I very much regret staying to eat the dish as most of the Doritos were bare, so it was like eating a bag of warmed crisps. Unironically, the waitress asked me how was my meal so I replied honestly "awful".
At the till she gave me a derisory 95 pence reduction and launched into details of the owner's hospital stay - what???
The cup of tea was good but my overall recommendation is don't go to Bellas.

Booked a birthday brunch. Took 90 minutes for food. Rosti was undercooked, someone ordered extra mushrooms with their salmon which they had to ask for. 3 peoples meals didn’t come out until at least 10 minutes after everyone else else’s. There was was a table for 2 who also waited an hour and 15 and the owner come and sat down with her hubbie or partner with a hot meal before they had got their food. In top of that all of us who ordered full English 2 adults and kids. Been poorly since.

Hi there, I am sorry to hear of the issues you faced on your visit, we have been experiencing some technical difficulties with our kitchen of late, but this week had a new oven installed to mitigate these issues moving forward and reduce the time of the wait on the food. The other tables which you have mentioned in this review were extremely understanding and had special dietary requirements which was explained to them there would be a delay in their food coming out to accommodate their needs which they were more than happy with and left a lovely review for us afterwards.
The owner who was eating before customers as you have mentioned, had some toast which she cooked herself and this did not affect anything to do with the kitchen. I am sorry to hear you were poorly, we have never had any customers complain of being ill after eating at Bella’s and had no other feedback from other customers who ate at the same time reporting any illness either, maybe this was a coincidence as everything is cooked fresh to order.

The food at this venue is nothing special and not very hot.
We had the Full English Breakfast, the Veggie Pancakes and 2 Americanos.
The pancakes did not come with half the things advertised so I was taken aback to be charged the full price! £12 for 3 pancakes and a few berries, I felt was a bit steep!
The staff were lovely but I doubt we will be going back.

So today Bellas Launched thier new Sunday Roast Dinner with a fine selection of meats. I had Gammon (Veggie/Vegan also available) accompanied with Generous Roast Potatoes a fresh variety of honey roasted carrots, parsnips and Brocoli, 2 x homemade stuffing balls which were divine 😋 and a cracking Yorkshire pudding which was lovely and big because I didn't want it to end 🤣 the gravy came on the dish as requested but you can have separate. Also the option of adding a side dish of cauliflower cheese which 100 percent recommend as the cheese sauce made in house was spectacular 😋 I'm a massive foody I love eating and to be quite honest. That Roast dinner I just ate was easily the best I've tried and tasted locally. The quality in the meat and ingredients all being fresh absolutely makes the visit all the more special. It was a beautiful home cooked Sunday feast 😋 without the washing up 🤣
My partner had the Veggie Roast dinner which was Veggie chicken breast. All the trimmings I had bit with Veggie Stuffing balls. It's amazing they have and can cater for all food requirements and both me and my partner left with very full bellys. 😋
Partner all of the above with the most warm welcoming staff who genuinely have a care for all that go there makes this a must go to and visit. 😊

Had a lovely cooked breakfast , everything was cooked to perfection, love that the beans come in a seperate pot , (hate my beans touching anything else lol ) the mushrooms were seasoned with garlic and had so much flavour. My husband is really fussy and he favoured the Bellas breakfast over our usual cafe and love that everything is sourced local! will definately be back as want to try one of their smoothies!! Great value , friendly and attentive staff!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. When we went unfortunately, due to an electrical fault, they were unable to serve any food. We were able to have a coffee and whilst we were enjoying that, the staff phoned another cafe up the road to see if they could provide us with food. We had chosen this cafe due to its gluten free options and the staff took that into account when finding us an alternative venue. I hope to return to try Bella’s menu.

Fresh, modern culinary venue in a coastal town centre with helpful, efficient staff who are well informed on the need to enquire about customers' food allergies. It was a debut lunch visit for my wife & I. Prices are reasonable & the amounts are satisfying. The chef was very helpful in answering my queries & I thoroughly recommend this venue.

Staff at Bella’s were friendly and welcoming when we popped in for lunch last week. The cafe was busy but a table was quickly made available for us. The menu has a range of light lunches to cater for all diets. We tried the jacket potatoes and home made sausage rolls, which each came with a fresh side salad and coleslaw. The salad was really tasty, but not over dressed. The potatoes were generously filled and the sausage roll was meaty. There are also vegan options, which came as a plus for my daughter.
Nothing feels rushed in this cafe and if you’re a fan of modern food and coffee in a cheerful retro setting, then you should definitely pop in to Bella’s.

Came in for a full English! It was amazing, so tasty, garlic and thyme mushrooms were outstanding. And I requested a fried slice which the chef nailed made with bacon dripping. A definite must visit!! Oh and service was exceptional 😄

We visit this Bella's regularly, and it’s always a wonderful experience. The food is consistently top-notch, and on our most recent visit, I had Bella's signature ciabatta rolls, while my partner enjoyed a prawn cocktail – both of which were easily the best we’ve ever had!
We brought our daughter along, and as always, she was welcomed with open arms and treated with such warmth. She had a jacket potato with meatless balls in tomato sauce, which she devoured completely – face covered in sauce and all! It’s those little family moments that make coming here so special.
We stayed a bit longer and treated ourselves to a boozy latte each, which was made to absolute perfection. It set us up nicely for a stroll along Viking Beach, which is just a minute's walk from the cafe. Broadstairs and this little spot make for one of my favourite days out.
I can’t recommend this place enough – great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a perfect location for a relaxing beach day!

Couldn’t recommend anywhere better!
I was spoilt for choice with breakfast food items and decided on the full english, the sourdough was beautiful, mushrooms were seasoned so perfectly in a way i wouldn’t have imagined but it worked so well, eggs sausage and beans all had amazing flavour i was stunned.
on arrival we were welcomed in with such warmth and felt comfortable instantly, the customer service was impeccable.
