Booked a table for a Saturday night for 8 people at 9.30 only on the Tuesday of that week. Turned up at 9.30 and having been left in the doorway for a while were eventually greeted by a member of staff. When I said we had a booking he then just wandered off and started serving some other customers. When... More

Recently visited for a friends birthday meal. The food was delicious, and beautifully prepared, excellent curries. The staff were very polite and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyable and will be returning.

Landed up just as they were closing after lunch but had a warm welcome, excellent service and food. Would recommend this as a great hospitable place for a family and friends lunch/dinner.

I cannot complain about the food, it was delicious! However the customer service I received on the phone left a lot to be desired. The man I spoke to seemed to struggle with English and seemed annoyed at me for not pronouncing things correctly. Once I eventually managed to get my order across I was told it would be a... More

Party of 10 for a works do. Service was very friendly and efficient. Food was good and plentiful. Location is perfect as so central. They take AMEX which is a bonus. Will return again. Colleagues went to the Shozna (Maidstone rd) the following night too and said they preferred the food at the Raj of India.

Blimey. What a load of pony. Arrived at 1900 left at 2045 without getting any of our main order. Left very hungry. Average poppadoms. Average condiments. They got the beer order wrong three times. Bullocks will we go back there. Only good thing was our friend Mark Terry bumped into someone he met on grindr

Would have visited on the Monday but they had a notice in the window saying they closed that day so went Tuesday. They said they did open Monday but hadn't removed the 'closed Monday' notice when we left on Thursday. Only the two of us in so service a little over attentive. Food just ok. Too much ghee in the... We ate here on Fri, 26 Aug, 2016. The service was friendly and our order was taken swiftly. We did have to wait a while for the food but it was worth waiting for. The food was excellent – very fresh and good sized portions. Great traditional curry house. Would strongly recommend.

I decided to eat in at this Indian restaurant with a group of friends a few days ago, I ordered a Chicken Tk Massala with Sag Aloo, Coconut Rice and a Keema nan . We waited around 30mins for the food to arrive, which I thought was pretty quick for a busy Friday night and a serving for 5 .... More
