Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We popped out for brunch today and came across Tiny Tim’s. It’s a quiet place run by a lovely couple who couldn’t have been more polite, helpful and appreciative of people supporting their business. I can highly recommend the Artful Dodger breakfast for those with a big appetite and The Dickens for those who only like a little of everything. The portion sizes are generous and the quality of the food was exceptional. The chips are even better than chip shop chips! The tea was hot and The cappuccino wasn’t just froth. The service was fantastic, didn’t wait long to be seated or served our food. My partners quote, “That’s where you need to go if you have a quality hangover, it will sort you right out!” Great value for money, even with the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, We gave a £10 tip because we felt it was worth paying full price. They have followed the government guidelines very well and I cannot recommend enough. We will be back.

It's small, it's not posh and there are there are no frills. It's family owned and the staff are lovely. Not a posh menu but a really good choice of food from sandwiches, burgers, all day breakfasts and many other lunch dishes. Food is freshly cooked and Service is excellent, and it's not too expensive. You could walk past and not really notice it but if you are looking for a good lunch and see this place. Go in, you will be made very welcome and you won't regret it.

I went here because I wanted to ride my bike and found this on google. It looked nice from the picture so I went there. The staff were very friendly and I was met by the owner who couldn’t have done any more to male me feel welcome. I ordered the quarter cheese with chunky chips. The burger tasted amazing and chips were cooked perfectly. I told the owner that the only criticism I have is that the meal was far too big so I couldn’t eat half of the chips. Great service and the owner even found time to chat. Will definitely go again.

Overpriced, Weird sandwich fillings not suitable for afternoon tea. The place stunk like a greasy spoon which really made us feel sick. Whilst I appreciate the effort made to provide a gluten free veggie option the one chunk of dry cake and the builders portions of dried up sandwiches Kind of ruined what an afternoon tea experience should be, my friends rated their food as below average too with dirty teapots and cups. I would suggest the person making the afternoon tea go and spend an afternoon at a nice hotel that are rated highly for the their afternoon teas and transfer what they have learnt to Tiny Tims. The Decor also left a lot to be desired with drawn on fake beams etc The fresh strawberries were nice. The Staff were pleasant enough. Just cant get over the pungent smell of grease🙄

Had the all day breakfast. Wet cutlery put down on our table, no serviettes. Bacon very underdone for my liking (just about cooked), eggs and beans stone cold, toast horrible. Couldn't eat it. Witnessed the incident mentioned by 'valueseekerkent', where the server, an older, bald man, was extremely rude. Made a terrible atmosphere because he had a go at this poor customer for no reason, very loudly, so that the whole place could hear. His manner even with us was very odd, he seems completely unaware of his rudeness. When I went up to pay, this same man was clearing plates and had put the black dustbin lid up on the counter, on top of plates and cups. Place generally feels grubby. Level of hygiene and service appalling. I will never go back. There are cards on the tables asking for Tripadviser reviews, I hope management look at these reviews and take some action. I would if it was my business.

Was given a voucher for afternoon tea for 2 as a gift, had trouble booking on the phone(never answered) but popped in and booked very easily. The afternoon tea was really nice and made to order so was fresh and made with good quality ingredients. Everything was excellent the lovely sandwiches, scones and cakes. The service was great, had a wonderful time with my mum.

Popped into rochester for brunch today. Decided on Tiny Tim’s as had heard great things about the all day breakfast...it didn’t disappoint! There’s no airs and graces in there and you’re not afraid to ask for exactly what you want without feeling that you shouldn’t have! Nothing’s a problem. Great filling and tasty food Friendly and accommodating staff A real family run home feel to it Photos show the “Bumble Breakfast” and a minted lamb baguette

Asked for brown toast with my eggs, but got white and it wasn’t toasted properly- totally pale and soggy and unpleasant. Food and cutlery plonked down at end of table when served- no mention of sauces or seasoning. We were left to work out the grubby selection of sachets on a side table was a help-yourself. Didn’t feel welcoming at all.

Ordered an afternoon tea for my husband's birthday during lockdown. What a treat! Loads of fresh sandwiches stuffed full of filling, the biggest scones ever with clotted cream and jam, the most luscious fresh cakes, tea bags, milk and sugar! Fantastic value. Will most definitely be ordering again and will be paying a visit once they are open for business as usual. Oh yes, and the husband enjoyed it too! :)

We ordered afternoon tea for two to be delivered during the lockdown. Arrived in the timescale. And it was fabulous. Fresh sandwiches, great selection of cakes, plus cheesecake slices and huge scones with little pots of jam and clotted cream. The portions were very generous. Came with tea bags and milk, although we didn't use those. I would definitely recommend!

The breakfasts are amazing. Huge portions for a very good price!! Still waiting for the day when I manage to finish it!! My brain and mouth are saying “must eat all of the yummy food” where as my belly is saying “no more can fit!” The lovely staff always make my visit a huge pleasure and have never left there unhappy or disappointed. Would highly recommend Tiny Tim’s.

I booked the Christmas Afternoon tea for my friends 50th birthday. It was really busy so we really didn’t mind that our table hadn’t been set up. We could see the staff were all rushed off their feet. It felt very chaotic and people kept piling in off the street. Not the staffs fault but feel someone should have taken control. Kept having people asking to share our table. The food was nice. However feel didn’t need the Christmas pudding as by the time we got to it it was cold. Don’t think anyone would mind if this wasn’t part of the tea. Not given any cutlery ,however we’re given knives when asked. The berry jam for the scone was nice however no butter/ cream and when asked if we could have the strawberry jam we were told yes of course but this never arrived. When it came to paying before I’d got my coat on two women came along and started sitting on our table… there was rubbish on the floor one thing being a face mask. When we got there the table wasn’t ready ( which was fine as we could see how busy they were) but the table wasn’t cleaned with any spray or anything. Just feel no Covid regulations were being followed at all. I don’t want to knock the staff because they were all lovely and you could see they were doing their best . Unfortunately members of the public added to the experience being disappointing which I know you can’t easily control. Unfortunately the experience I had I don’t think was worth the money. I appreciate it was probably one of the busiest days so far but something I’d planned for my friends bday actually turned out to be quite stressful.

We had a wonderful Afternoon Tea today, a lovely pre-new baby treat for my daughter. Steve and his lovely Mum were happy for us to decorate the table with baby shower props, and the food was fresh, beautifully presented and absolutely yummy! We have eaten here many times before and it is always warm and welcoming. Rochester’s little gem.o

Me and my girlfriend decided to have a trip out to rochester and stumbled upon this beautiful hidden gem during our outing. absolutely stunning Dickensian murals with very pleasant friendly staff and the food was top notch!! We decided to treat ourselves to one of their afternoon teas and we were absolutely blown away by the selection of sponge and cheesecakes available on the stand, the wide range of sandwich fillings left us speechless and unable to decide for a good few minutes haha. When we got our food we were met with more smiles and more homely hospitality from the wonderful staff!! The afternoon tea itself was absolutely delicious and very filling, we were even offered boxes to take some of our leftover cakes home with us adding to the wonderful hospitality from the staff Overall wonderful experience and homely atmosphere, cannot wait to come in again.

Wow…. I cannot recommend this place enough!! ☕️🍰 We had group of ladies visit Tiny Tims for afternoon tea. The service was great, nothing was too much trouble, and the food was amazing. There was so much food that we all even brought a “goodie box” home too. There was so much choice and varieties of sandwiches, you also got hot savories with the Christmas afternoon tea snd a mini Christmas pudding - great value for money! Would highly recommend a visit to Tiny Tims staff are do welcoming too 👍🏼
