My friends and I visited for dinner after work. The pub was beautifully decorated inside and out ready for Christmas and we had a great table near the open fire. The menu choices were good with plenty of home cooked food options but we all ordered the cajun chicken and wedges. The meals were delicious and the barman/waiter was very... More

Visited this pub with my partner for the first time today, we could not be more pleased with our experience! As soon as we stepped foot inside we were made to feel at ease with the twinkly lights placed above the fire, it was so atmospheric and cosy! Not to mention the friendly greeting we received as we entered. When... More

Our friends love this pub and took us there for a meal on Saturday. We had a wonderful friendly welcome, great service from all the staff and really tasty food. I had deep fried Brie followed by sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection. It has a lovely cosy atmosphere with a real fire. No wonder our friends love this... More

The Bar/Restaurant area was very welcoming, the menu offered a great choice of food at reasonable prices. The service was prompt and friendly and most important of all the food was delicious. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this pub, I will definitely be going back again soon..

Popped in here for Sunday lunch and although the staff were lovely and friendly the waiting time and food were disappointing . Starts were lovely and piping hot but the roast dinner was a massive let down . Both the roast and boiled potatoes were undercooked and hard as were the carrots . Desserts were nice . So after an... I booked a table for Sunday lunch with my Mum and Aunt last week and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The Sunday lunch was first class! Plenty of roast lamb and fresh vegetables and extra gravy available too! Staff were extremely polite and friendly and I will definitely be returning again! Also, a beautiful pub. We ate in the bar which... More

We went to this pub a couple of times during a summer holiday at nearby Pen Fistla Barns. It is a fantastic place - the service is really friendly and helpful, the locals in the pub were also friendly (not always the case in pubs), good ambience with seating both out front and garden in back. The food is lovely,... More
